Samsung YP-U3 MP3 Player
Samsung YP-U3, the latest edition of Samsung’s U-series of small form factor MP3 Player which is one of a competitors to the iPod shuffle. This latest Samsung U3 features a 1-inch OLED display, RDS tuner, 15 hours battery life and support for MP3, WMA, ASF and Ogg files. In addition, these MP3 players had a built-in USB plug for downloading your favorite songs and musics from PC or notebook.
The Samsung YP-U3 MP3 player with a new recording function will be available in 1, 2 and 4GB models but it has not been official announced so no words on its price and release date yet.

suddenly it took an other version of the firmaware (1.08) and now it can’t play a thing.

My computer won’t even load it. THis really sucks since my brother who is in the Navy just bought this for my birthday and now it just stops working. Shame on you Samsung, please tell me how to get my laptop to read it. So I can follow the Device Manager steps.

insin was right.
Go to the device manager and delete the mofo driver… it worked for me!
Windows xp.

piece of crap that it is..
I think it originally came to greif when it tried to upgrade the firmware.

hey guys, I have the exact same problem, worked fine when i bought it, no install required then 1 reformat later and -kaputt. gone. samsung website is useless.

hey, just came across this via google as my u3 stopped being recognised by my notebook, so what i did was plugged in my u3, went to device manager and then uninstalled the driver. i then pulled it out then plugged it in again and it started to install drivers for it by itself.
no additional driver was needed.
