Fujitsu’s First UMPC With Twisty Screen
Fujitsu will enter the ultra-mobile PC (UMPC) market by unveiled its first UMPC design in Beijing at the Intel Developers Forum recently. This first UMPC from Fujitsu reportedly will feature the latest Intel “Stealey” A100 or A110 processor. “Stealey” is a 65 nm, single-core with 512 KiB L2 cache CPU designed for use with Intel’s Ultra Mobile Platform 2007.

The Fujitsu UMPC is comes with a 5.6-inch (1024 x 600) display, 1GB of main memory, 40GB hard drive, two cameras and SD reader. In addition, this UMPC also equipped with a two-core battery and optional four-core battery that can last seven hours to make it more portable.
Beside, the Fujitsu’s UMPC also has a unique rotatable swivel screen which when rotated, users can also lay its screen flat over the keyboard. Currently, no words of pricing and availability but the Fujitsu’s UMPC will hit the market soon.
