Logitec is coming up with the LDS-iALARM, which features an old school alarm clock look, but it’s actually a dock for your Apple iPod, letting you wake up to whatever tunes happen to fill your collection. Sony RAW Driver (codec) for Windows Vista Free Download

For Sony Cyber-shot DSC-R1 and Sony Alpha DSLR-A100 users or most other Sony digital cameras users that can capture image in RAW format, Sony has released Sony RAW Driver (codec) which allows RAW data with file extension of ARW, SR2 or SRF to be displayed in Windows Explorer or Windows Photo Gallery in the same way as JPEG files. The RAW codec even allows automatic preview of RAW image as thumbnail, and enable manipulation on RAW picture just as a JPG file, such as print, open, tag and etc.

Windows Vista tcpip.sys Connection Limit Patch for Event ID 4226

Apparently in Windows Vista, Microsoft still enforce and hard-limit (hard coded in tcpip.sys) the maximum simultaneous half-open (incomplete) outbound TCP connection attempts per second that the system can make, as in Windows XP SP2, in order to protect the system from being used by malicious programs, such as viruses and worms, to spread to uninfected computers, or to launch distributed denial of service attack (DDoS). When the limit is hit, in Event Viewer, there will be such an entry:

EventID 4226: TCP/IP has reached the security limit imposed on the number of concurrent TCP connect attempts
