CD Cataloguing Software
Categorised CD collection is always a hassle for many people especially CD collectors. It is a very tedious job to sort and search your CD collection by artiste, album, composer, etc. There are a few CD cataloguing softwares available to reduce your headache.
You can try OrangCD Catalog and CATraxx. Both OrangeCD Catalog and CATraxx are comprehensive music database programs for cataloging your music in any format: CDs, DVDs, records, MP3 files or tapes. These two window programs offer limited-time trial editions to download for free and cost less than US$40 if you decide to buy them. Besides these two, you can also try Music Collector. Music Collector is designed for Windows and Macintosh System. It also has a free trial version for users to test the program. Music Collector is available in two versions and offers a 30-day money-back guarantee.
The above recommended applications are based on users’ feedback and opinions. Of course, there is still an overwhelming amount of relevant software in the market. You can also find other cataloguing programs to sample in shareware archives like Download.com.

If you collect ‘warez’ and software like I do then music catalogers are next to useless. I use “Here It Is” which reads inside ZIPs & RARs. Cracks for it are readily available too.
