Whatever it was it was trying to install itself and it was severe enough for my virus program to give me a critical warning and delete it.
Alot of these file sites have so many pop ups and spware it’s crazy. I know it’s not your fault.

Do you realize that there is an incredible amount of spyware at the file sites you are using? If I didn’t have virus protection and tuse a spyware program I would have been F***ed!

That is bullshit. .dream ist just a simple wrapper for the files that is supposed to allow some “interactivity” later on and makes it easier to sell .dreams for your desktop. It does not even remotely enhance the rendering speed of the videos! The rendering is entirely done by Microsoft’s DreamScene, not StarDock’s DreamScapes Add-On.
