Windows Genuine Advantage Crack 1.7.18.5

Microsoft has updated Windows Genuine Advantage Validation Tool and Notifications to version 1.7.18.5 via Automatic Updates. This upgrade seems to be another ‘user experience’ update with no change to anti-circumvention technology to stop the pirate from cracking the WGA DLL and executable files. So team ETH0 has came up with the updated crack too, for WGA v1.7.18.5. It seems like the new crack is just the old crack with revised version, and claim to be working to bypass WGA validation on Windows Update and Microsoft Download Center.

In case you have problem on Windows, you can apply the patch to temporarily bypass WGA verification. To apply the patch, simply unpack the archive and run install.bat.

i have bypassed the site validation bit it stope me during the installation process and says that it is not valid , any advice???

There is built-in validation in installer, try to use registry hack to install it. Visit here.

admin. I have Vista Ultimate. Is it me, or they haven’t released any new updates yet? Or is it that we need to run that first? Sorry I’m sleepy, and I sound like a noob!

This worked great - no more nag screen
It is a simple process of finding the file online - should only take a few minutes of fiddling around - thank god for those chinese websites!

I have XP .. i need to upgrade to SP2

i used the 1.7.18.5 cracked offline then run install of the SP2.exe downloaded from microsoft site without validation

it wont work still.. during installation .. it still prompt wga.

being trying for the 4th day ..

I think people need to be aware that there are three issues to tackle. There is WGA validation, WGA notification, and also a check when adding service packs. You must address ALL of these things. The patch that this page refers to does NOT address all of these issues.

To do a fresh install of XP that is patched and works, you need to start with a cracked version of XP slipstreamed with SP1. If you start with just XP, then you might run into problems that are awkward to deal with.

Having put XP SP1 on, you then add SP2 using the full exe version from MS. (If they have updated this to check the installation, then you need a copy of the version they were putting out before)

Then you need to deal with WGA validation. This is dealt with using earlier patches like the one for 1.5.540.0. (Thses patches used to also deal with WGA notifications, but that aspect doesn’t work any more)

Then you need an updated WGA notification patch like the one this page refers to.

If you do all this, then it should be able to access the Windows update site.

HOWEVER, it will not address the separate WGA that is built into programs like WMP11, IE7 etc.

It seems Microsoft have fixed this vulnerability, ie the 1.7.18.5 replacement dll’s no longer work. It now takes you to a validation page:

The Permanent fix doesn’t work any more. The Key Generator and Key Finder files from WPatcherP5575987.zip are not allowed to be extracted.
