WGA v1.7.18.1 Update Download
Microsoft has updated Windows Genuine Advantage (WGA) Notifications and Validation Tool to version 1.7.18.1 (or 1.7.0018.1) since late February and early March, ironically is to improve ‘user experience’ while validation is done, despite the fact that anti-piracy technology has caused great inconvenient to Windows users. If you want the ‘user friendlier’ version of WGA validation tool, it can be downloaded from Microsoft Download Center. The WGA application is been rolled out via Windows Updates too, and at this point, some has reported that WGA version 1.7.18.5 has been released too.
After you have installed WGA v1.7.18.1, or has accidentally installed WGA that validate your copy of Windows as non-genuine, rendering you unable to access Windows Update or download software from Microsoft Download Center, Team ETH0 has released a cracked version of WGA files for v1.7.18.1 consisted of modified LegitCheckControl.dll, WgaLogon.dll and WgaTray.exe. Yes, 1.7.18.5 is definitely out. I got it and
sadly there are no cracks for it yet.

i was truying for ever to truy to find some ting that would work i fond it thank you

it does not work for me. MGADiag shows that i have a blocked vlk and i have WGA 1.7.18.1 installed. the patch did remove the annoying notifications. i tried to install SP2 with and without the simple hosts file hack but to no avail.

i changed to another XP key and set my time forward by a month. SP2 installed without any complaints. I reverted my time to July and now IE7 and WMP 11 will not install. I noticed I had a copy of WGA 1.7.36.0. Downloaded a crack version and installed it. Msoft website thinks I have a genuine copy. MGADiag says i have blocked VLK. IE7 and WMP 11 will not install. once again the WGA crack helps suppress the balloons, no more. please help.
