Bypass Vista Activation with Paradox OEM BIOS Emulation Toolkit v1.0
OEM BIOS Emulation Toolkit for Windows Vista is a crack tool that enable user to bypass or crack 32-bit Windows Vista (x86) product activation requirement, by emulating hardware-embedded BIOS ACPI_SLIC license information of so called “Royalty OEMs” (e.g. ASUS, HP, Dell) which allowed to ship computer products with Windows Vista installation that does not require any kind of product activation as this might be seen an unnecessary inconvenience for the end-user. With the emulated BIOS with correct Windows Marker, obtaining further activation information online or by phone is obsolete and no longer needed. Best of all, no flashing of mod BIOS needs to be done.
Both softmod.iso Software BIOS emulator and OEM BIOS Emulation Kit is similar. However, the popular softmod.iso BIOS emulator makes use of vstaldr Grup multiboot boot loader to load the emulation driver during initial boot up of system, while the OEM BIOS Emulation Toolkit is completely software based Windows driver which runs within Windows Vista operating system environment. It works by presenting BIOS ACPI_SLIC information to Windows Vista’s licensing mechanism by means of a device driver, and combined with a matching product key and OEM certificate, Windows Vista is fooled to assume that the system is genuine OEM product and render any system activated with this method practically indistinguishable from a legit pre-activated system shipped by the respective OEM.
- Install the Windows Vista x86 edition (any edition including Windows Vista Ultimate is possible) without entering any product key during setup. Any Windows Vista x86 installation media can be used, regardless of whether it’s MSDN, Retail, OEM, RTM release. However, if you’re using OEM DVD media, make sure you choose the correct OEM brand for BIOS simulation, and you can skip the step to install OEM certificate.
- Download Paradox OEM BIOS Emulation Toolkit v1.0 (paradox.rar).
- Extract paradox.rar to a folder.
- Disable User Access Control.
- Run OEMTOOL.EXE (right click on it and choose “Run as Administrator” if you don’t disable UAC), then select the OEM BIOS information to emulate (ASUS might be a good choice given the fact that it’s the only OEM for which has leaked complete set of product keys for all editions of Windows Vista), and hit the ‘<Install Emulation Driver>’ button to install the emulation driver (Royal.sys).
If above method to install BIOS emulation driver fails, you can alternatively just right-click the ROYAL.INF file and chose ‘Install’ from the right click context menu. However, this installation method only allows user to install emulation driver with default OEM BIOS information (ASUS) and is discouraged.
If you’re prompted with warning dialog on whether to install an unsigned driver, allow it.
- Reboot the computer.
- Install the OEM certificate (also comes with the archive in CERTS folder) matching your OEM selection during driver installation by running the following command in command prompt:
SLMGR.VBS -ilc <OEMNAME>.XRM-MS
For example, use “SLMGR.VBS -ilc C:\ASUS.XRM-MS” if you chose to install the default driver and extracted the certificate file to C:\.
- Install an OEM product key (also comes with the archive in pkeys.txt file, or more OEM product key published by different OEMs in CD-KEY.txt) matching the installed edition of Windows Vista x86 by running the following command in command prompt:
SLMGR.VBS -ipk <OEM_PRODUCT_KEY>
For example, use “SLMGR.VBS -ipk 6F2D7-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX” if you’re running Windows Vista Ultimate using the default emulation driver (ASUS).
- Verify the Windows Vista activation and licensing status by running ‘SLMGR.VBS -dlv’ in command prompt or right-click ‘Computer’ and chose ‘Properties’.
If you’re using softmod.iso BIOS emulator but miss the floppy disk drive (A drive) which is been used as a virtual drive to load the emulation drive by boot loader, this toolkit is a workaround solution.
OEMTool.exe also comes with a ‘<Dump OEM BIOS Information>’ button which dumps the BIOS ACPI_SLIC information of any SLP 2.0-enabled OEM system to a file. The dump can then be used to emulate (’clone’) the legit exported SLIC information on any other system by specifying the ‘Custom’ option. If you want to dump the OEM BIOS from actual OEM product with hardware-embedded SLIC information, make sure that you don’t install the emulation driver, or else it’s the OEM BIOS information of emulation driver that is been extracted.

hey!
after looking for a way to activate my vista enterprise, I finally found it, from 2 days to deadline…
download and run the file below:
Offline_Vista_timestop_v2a_crack_32+64.rar
this method really works
got my vista running and the status is “2 days for activation”, since i’ve installed the timerlock soft (timestop).
surely works with all vista versions (I didn’t tried with XP…)
no virtual servers, scripts, keygens, crackers
just fool the goddam Micro$oft OS!
hehhehehhehhehehhe

Can someone please help? I did everything exactly, but I still get the activation windows every time I turn on my notebook and have to wait 15 seconds before I can “Activate Later.” I’m using Acer with Vista Ultimate, but I installed the ASUS driver (since it’s the most complete). Everything was done in Administrator mode. I even turned off the UAC.
April 27th, 2009 11:26
THANKS!!! Nothing else worked. Not Vista Loader 2.1.3. Not Timestopper. I couldn’t wait on BruteForce Key Gen.
The funny thing is that only got half way through the instructions, that is right after installing the ACER OEM Cert. I thought that I made an error and uninstalled the cert, so I can use ASUS.
When it rebooted, there was a splash screen saying Thanks for Activating Windows Ultimate!
Woo! Hoo!!

Didn’t work for me. I could not get past the second step, (after install the OEM kit). Not only that, but got the black screen of death telling me to repair my install, but not allowing me to.
I tried the kit with 64 bit install, so maybe that is the reason. Finally used one of the pre activated releases.

One thing you need to be careful of when attempting to use this crack is to NOT install the latest updates during the install process. If you do then you won’t be permitted to run the scripts (Microsoft must have released some kind of defence against the crack). Once you have run the scripts and have ‘activated’ your product then you can safely install the latest updates. At least so far….

I read this info below for those getting the BSOD with the royal.sys driver on nvidia mobo’s. problem with my setup is, there is no “nforce pci-express root port” in my system devices, so it cant be that stopping the royal.sys driver, it must be another driver or else a M$ update to kill it ?
Anyone got a workaround for this yet ?
If you got a BSOD error it is caused by the Update from Microsoft named
Nforce4 PCI-Express Root Port (also included in Nvidia drivers).
This is a guide to solve the problem:
1. If you got the BSOD, find a way (safemode or dualboot)
to rename the file in \\windows\\system32\\drivers\\royal.sys to royal2.sys
2. Your should not get the BSOD the next time you restart.
Go to Control panel -> Device Manager.
3. Under System Devices you should see the Nforce4 PCI-Express Root Port.
4. Right-click and choose Properties.
5. Under the Driver tab choose Roll Back Driver.
6. BEFORE you restart rename \\windows\\system32\\drivers\\royal2.sys back to royal.sys
7. Restart now and it should be activated!

People….people….people.
For those of you wanting to know if this crack works on the 64bit versions of Vista, you better start reformatting & reinstalling the 32 bit version because it does not.
For those wanting to use different OEM keys instead of ASUS, in OEMTOOL.EXE just choose ACER, LENOVO or HP, and if you are feeling particularly brave, select Custom and use your own BIOS dump file, but don’t blame me if you brick your installation because you don’t know what you’re doing.
And finally, like I had said many many posts ago in this thread and was also restated above by “Melinda Gates”, this hack cannot ever be “updated out of existence” as literally 10’s of thousands of legitimate users have these OEM certificates installed and for MS to deactivate them and reissue new ones to the OEM Manufacturers would be a HIGE public relations nightmare for any company using them to install Vista with as well as Microsoft…
Just try the damn thing. If it works…great, enjoy your Vista. If it doesn’t, boot up in safe mode and remove the files you installed and reboot…poof. you are now back to where you started from….simple eh?

Billy dear,
You can’t ban those OEM keys because they are already in use by thousands of legitimate OEM users.
You can’t remove “royalty” files because deleting or tampering with third-party files (non-MS files) will breach the EULA.
You can’t change the OEM licenses because, once again, thousands of legitimate users are using them.
Basically, you can’t change the rules in the middle of the game.

Tis, tis, tis. Bill Gates. Don’t you know no human here on this earth is God? So that renders man not perfect. Thus everything you do has been tampered with sin. When making something, it can be certainly unmade, don’t doubt this.
For every action we humans take, there is a positive equal reaction. Only God doesn’t bear this rule. So when someone create software in this case, it will always be a fault and flaw in it’s creation, no matter what. Just remember my words….

March 6th, 2007 06:55
True but someone will just go tell and MS will be here reading the keys, and disabling them. PARADOX is a awesome group, but people shouldn’t go around telling everyone, there should be a site for users only with passwords for the “scene”.
Oh, and can’t we just change our product key with the option in our system properties?
March 6th, 2007 02:26
@bjuj:
The Product key being used is generated (in part) by the version of Windows you have installed.
This crack and the OEM keys/certificates are emulating the hardware-embedded BIOS ACPI_SLIC license information of so called “Royalty OEMs” (e.g. ASUS, HP, Dell) which are allowed to ship computer products with Windows Vista installation that does not require any kind of product activation.
The ONLY WAY for Microsoft to stop this would be to invalidate all the OEM certificates and reissue new ones, which would certainly get not only people like you and me but also those legitimate users who purchased systems from ASUS, Acer, Lenovo, HP, Dell, etc… which would cause a HUGE nightmare for those companies Public Relations…. not gonna happen anytime soon.
Even the author of this crack states above… “it works by presenting BIOS ACPI_SLIC information to Windows Vista’s licensing mechanism by means of a device driver, and combined with a matching product key and OEM certificate, Windows Vista is fooled to assume that the system is genuine OEM product and render any system activated with this method practically indistinguishable from a legit pre-activated system shipped by the respective OEM”.
So, just install it w/your OEM Manufacturer of choice and worry about the future when or *IF* Microsoft finds a way around this that doesn’t affect legitimate purchasers of Vista…..
March 6th, 2007 01:57
all that im afraid of is when ms finds a way to render this useless..im just thinking if its okey that we are using the same product key as to those who chose ASUS?is it not obvious to ms?

This crack is not dependent on you having matching hardware to run it on. The crack is designed to *trick* Vista in to thinking that your PC is an OEM from one of the manufacturers (ASUS, Acer, Lenovo, HP, etc..etc..) which bypasses the normal activation methods.
I have it installed using the ASUS OEM keys w/Vista Ultimate on a ECS P4M800PRO-M Motherboard and it is working well. I have went to windows update and installed everything needed and WGA did not make a peep…
March 6th, 2007 00:29
*SIGH*
@Private:
You are not following the steps correctly. This line (SLMGR.VBS -ilc .XRM-MS) is an example and if you have used the ASUS certificate, the entire line should read like this instead: SLMGR.VBS -ilc C:\ASUS.XRM-MS
Did you MAKE SURE that you opened the CERT folder from the crack and copy/paste the ASUS cert to the root drive of your Vista installation first? c:\ is where it should go, THEN you run SLMGR.VBS -ilc C:\ASUS.XRM-MS from a command prompt.
Everything needed to properly apply this crack is included in the download so anyone who cannot figure this out should not quit their day jobs….LOL

I used start\cmd\ctl+enter and inserted SLMGR.VBS -ilc .XRM-MS but keep getting an error. Is this due to the fact that I am running another OS on the very first partition on the hdd, or is there some other reason?

Hi, Does anyone have the Dell Bios Dump file?? or know a location on where to dl it?
March 5th, 2007 07:53
FINALLY!! A Vista crack that actually works as advertised and is easy to use at the same time.
Mad props to PARADOX for another fine scene release.
March 5th, 2007 07:47
ok, I’ve found the answer :
Yes, the driver must stay enabled
March 5th, 2007 06:47
I tried it on vmware, and it works !
big thanks !!!
question : does the emulation driver have to stay installed after activation or is it possible to uninstall it ?
March 5th, 2007 02:44
I tried this with x64 Ultimate, the exe failed to install the royal.sys, upon installing with the .inf directly it failed to boot (32bit in 64bit land makes for a sad kitty). So, rebooted into “last known good config” and deleted it from the registry. Works fine on a 32bit/x86 Ultimate install though, props to the pioneers on this. PARADOX comes through again.

[...] what other blogs were saying about this, and that’s when I actually came across one blog that walks you through the steps needed to use the crack. To me, it is still too much work and not something I would like to fiddle around with. Because of [...]

Oxid, i’m…. hehe i’m install Windows Vista, Ultimate, and I don’t read the warning of convert Vista Ultimate or Other Version to Business or Premium. I activate my Windows Vista, but Business and I’m use the TimerLock for these 180 days.
Now with this i’m Reinstall, without Key, and Deactivate “Activate on Internet Conexion” (Sorry, but i’m use Spanish Version, and says other words)
My vista Is Installed and whitout Activate.
Um… Admin, add it “SLMGR.VBS -ulk” it’s 4 users with Keys added. It erases the Keys. I’m Use it and i’m now with Ultimate Activated and No Problems.
Thankz! Salu2 @roKiLL!
March 4th, 2007 21:37
how long do you think this will last?
a
it will take me 10 minutes to code a security update that renders this patch useless.
March 4th, 2007 19:43
This method rocks…forget the lame brute force hack thiz is the way!
March 4th, 2007 18:39
Works perfectly. I advise you all to choose the change product key option a couple of times. I believe it alters your product id. I don’t think Microsoft will trace this. Plus, if they do, one of the greatest teams named PARADOX will just have another version.
March 4th, 2007 18:35
Yes, it is detectable in theory. Got to be careful with updates and review all of them manually.
March 4th, 2007 18:21
Won’t this be detected by M$ and removed automatically from the system someday, just like TimerStop?
March 4th, 2007 17:39
Hi, seems to be working Ok, but how do I uninstall the BIOS emulator just in case M$ block it ?
March 4th, 2007 17:08
I hope Paradox releases a new version with more OEM’s.
I like to use Dell instead of Asus.
I was able to replace the files in the softmod, and that method got widespread after i mentioned it on some forums.
However, have no idea how that could be done in the Paradox crack, since i have no idea where to place the needed strings.. If anyone has an idea.. That would be great..
Allegro.

March 4th, 2007 15:01

March 4th, 2007 13:29
hi guys i just want to know if this works on vista ultimate that has been crack using vistacrack(timestopper)?
March 4th, 2007 10:45
Thanks, Paradox!
Best ever… no text screens at bootup and floppy (A:/) is seen by Vista as well. Great job!
March 4th, 2007 10:16
@prokill
=> did you do everything? didn’t forget to change your certificates?
Did you activated it previously?
March 4th, 2007 10:16
Guide: My Digital Life [...]

@ prokill,
I use kms, that’s why i installed business, but this doesn’t work if kms is already applied. I tried it on a fresh ULTIMATE copy and this thing does work pretty well!
Now waiting for the serial key algorithm so vista will be really cracked
MS sucks at security.
and prokill:
just do a system restore, that works for me!

Ummm 5 minutes later…. Windows Vista says It’s NO ORIGINAL. And pop-up a window 4 change the Pass or ReActivate Online. Or Call to Mocosoft.
It’s good, but, not 100% efective.
Sorry my english, i’m beginner.
March 4th, 2007 09:49
Oxid, You can use KMS Server. 4 Bussines
March 4th, 2007 09:48
100% PERFECT!!!
Thankz 4 the best group of Hackers!!!!
YOu’RE THE BEST!!!! POWWA!!!!

@ garg
I have had the same problem!, first i’ve tried it on a fresh copy of windows vista and it was working Fine!, but on my existent windows vista business i got the blue screen when doing this, this is propably because my windows business is already activated.
Greetings

I only get a BSOD on boot, saying something about royal.sys trying to write to read-only memory. Lucikly Vista still boots nicely into safe-mode so i can uninstall the BIOS emulator. Anyone else having simiilar probelms?
March 4th, 2007 08:32
what are the chances that ms will block the driver, since its just loaded into windows and not during boot?
March 4th, 2007 08:14
Can someone post a dump of a legit Dell bios please? Thx in advance!
March 4th, 2007 07:41
Are the activation keys provided in pkeys.txt file such as Asus Ultimate key) the same for all Asus computer with Vista Ultimate BIOS ACPI_SLIC licensing? What I am trying to get at is will Microsoft disable those keys in pkeys.txt in upcoming patches?
March 4th, 2007 07:37
Works! Easy as pie!
Thanks!
March 4th, 2007 07:37
THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH!!!!!
I previously tried to crack my vista using the old ASUS BIOS Emulation Method, but i was unsuccessful on one of my computers. When i saw this, i downloaded it straight away, and it worked first time.
THANK YOUZ!!!!
March 4th, 2007 07:26
Tryed it. Fresh install as recommended.
Works well.
Seems to be the best yet.
March 4th, 2007 07:12

March 4th, 2007 06:27
Can you have updates and all?
March 4th, 2007 06:22
THX guys. This one is the best method to use a full version vista so far because it isn’t required any interaction with the MS at all. THX once more!!!!
