Opera Defender… tell me, Opera is the inventor of web browsing? No, it borns copying a function and ideas of others.
Do I think it is bad? No, but you seem to desqualify any practice like this due that you are complaining an much even minor function.
Free software is about the possibility of adding new functions, is studip to complain about any optional one. The one who doesn’t want or need that function just donesn’t add it and that’s all. With Opera you have it even if you don’t even use it, with Firefox, this is an option. And there is some people who like to have options instead of unused functions.
