   HELP ME PLEASE! CANNOT OPEN BIOS

   Motherboard model: ASUS P5W64 WS Pro

   I have a problem: I can’t open the BIOS with Modbin6…it says “Not version 6.0″
   I would like simply know how to open the BIOS.

   I believe this is due to the fact its bios is AMI and not AWARD…

   PLS HELP, I would like to mod this bios, here is the link too:

   I modded the bios.
   Don’t forget to have a spare floppy with original bios, if something goes wrong.
   I don’t have this board, so i haven’t tried.
   Just replace SRAT for SLIC, and add ACPISLIC to the ACPITBL.

   csar modded the bios by adding the SLIC and changing memory
   I modded my MSI K8N SLI Platinum bios by replacing the SRAT and No memory change
   Works great (didn’t try with 64 Bit Vista)
   But should not be a problem

    guide, but my machine has 2GB of ram, so you might have to adjust the memory address by doing step 15 on…

    I know one thing:

    Abit IC-7 ASUS_Bios hax is recognisable in Bios (works) but activation fails with asus oemcert.xrm-ms.

    I hope somebody will fix it or try an other bios hax (not asus).

    Hi, im wondering a few things.

    1. does it mather if its 64-bit or 32-bit ?

    My motherboard: MSI K8N SLI platinum.

    ive tried the one uploaded here without success with the x64 ULTIME RTM release.

    the one that did the MSI K8N SLI Platinum bios mod, can you specify wich OEM certificate you used ?

    PLZ HELP ME GUYS!!!!

    I followed Palote’s instruction:

    -made a fresh install without serial (Vista ultimate ,Abit IC-7 perfectly modified Bios)

    -i did not allow it to activate online.

    -installed asus certificate.

    -rebooted.

    BUT IT IS STILL NOT ACTIVATED!!!

    PLZ HELP, IM VERY SAD
