   Bios_agent sayes i hav a Phoenix-Award Bios.

   How can i backup this bios

   I have the SLI versions.
   Also i miss the normal asus p5B

   And it would nice to see sapphire biosses.

   Has anyone gotten it to work with the Asus M2N-SLI Deluxe board? The string in the original BIOS is: (RSDTXSDTFACPDSDTFACCAPICSLICSSDTSRATHPETMCFGFACS) which appears to me to say that the SLIC table is already there. I’m not sure what to do from here!

   Just read the bios listed

   I think that you can use NF4-D in NF4-DR, because they use same bios, but you need to verify that.

   THX for the link, but my board is the M2N32-SLI DELUXE, not de A8N-DELUXE.

   Wath I was doing it’s to see if it was any relation on does BIOS, for use in my bios.
   I realise the incertion of the SLIC code after RSDT and before FACS on the A8N bios, in mine it’s different because it have a header in ACPITBL with the position code:

   RSDT: XSDTz FACPÖ DSDTä APIC~ SLICú HPETp MCFG¨ FACS>_END

   ( : z Ö ä ~ ú p ¨ > ) are the pointers of the corresponding tables. Exanging the pointer of the incerted (or added in the end of the file) SLIC code doesen’t work. Everest can’t find SLIC, meaning isn’t load in memory. So no activation possible. My guess is, it must have a bit for activation of the table in some place…

   If some one wants to face this challenge here’s the BIOS link:

   HELP ME PLEASE! CANNOT OPEN BIOS

   I have a problem: I can’t open the BIOS with Modbin…it says “Not version 6.0″
   I would like simply know how to open the BIOS.

   The BIOS for the A8N-SLI version 1014 does not work. It doesn’t work because one of the entries in the BIOS has “_ASUS+” instead of “_ASUS_”

   The 1013 BIOS does work fine. I haven’t tried upgrading to 1014 (again) to see if things remain fine. I hear that maybe the section of the BIOS that had this mod may not be updated in future BIOS updates.

    PLZ HELP ME!!!!

    Bios update for my Abit IC-7 is OK.
    I installed vista ultimate with6F2D7 key.
    oemcert.xrm-ms was successfully loaded.

    But my Vista still must be activated!!!

    What can I do???

    @131 there was a post earlier for the a8n sli deluxe that does work. I don’t know if the deluxe is radically different from the non deluxe but it works fine on my deluxe board. Google to see it you can use it.

    Great find!

    Would like to get my hands on a patched Dell Dimension 8300 (A07) bios..

    I have a OEM Dell Vista disc, but the bios is too old for Vista i guess..
    (Dell branded XP discs do work without activation, etc)

    So would like to see some Dell bioses here..

    My Bios was successfully updated. I installed windows vista ultimate with 6F2D7-…. key and i installed asus oemcert.xrm-ms

    BUT MY VISTA IS STILL NEEDS ACTIVATION (it seys “wrong product key”)
