   and I do have an OEM copy of Ultimate and Premium here and neither seem to work

   am I doing soemthing wrong?

   Flashed with award flash to the bios posted and does not seem to work unless I am missing something

   Thanks DaEnigma. I appreciate. can I jsut use award flash (alt F2 in post) to flash? just making sure.

   after flash just restart and go right?

   now am I married to this bios now? or can I update it later to the next release or does that have to be modded to?

   Here is a link to the P25 bios I modified(New Method) Travis for the Evga 680i SLi. I am running it now and it is working fine… Also make sure you flash using a floppy or boot cd method as the P25 bios has problems with the Windows updater…

   Travis I modified the P25 bios on my own this time and did the improved version to add the SLP and it works fine…

   Vista Ultimate is Activated…

   I can send it your way somehow if you like

   ldd0603c bios posted here for ASUS P5LD2 Deluxe does not work…

   Any attempt to access results in an invalid SLIC table error… althoug I can see it in there!…

   Anyone out here tried this or have one that works?

    ok it looks like post 569/570 is based on the p25 Which is the latest on the site so it could be it.

    says it is not tested though. just a matter of flashing back if no go right?

    jsut flash and load right?

    A friend of mine just tried this 1 Gigabyte GA-K8N Pro-SLI ( failed ) thats with the timestop crack i suggested a re install clean and still fail any ideas

    I see that both ASUS P5LD2-VM and P5LD2 DELUXE bioses have been posted, but not the plain P5LD2. Any one have that by any chance? Niko?

    I’m gonna qrazzy. I used PARADOX. Windows Vista (Ultimate)new install. Load the oemTool.exe, install ASUS.xrm-ms. All is good. Then boot Windows new and an error appears (blue screen):
    “A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer
    royal.sys
    An attempt was made to write to read-only memory.
    Stop: 0×000000BE …”

    hardware:
    AMD X2 toledo 3800+
    2x 512 MB-Ram Corsair 3200LLpro
    Abit KN8-Ultra (Bios kn819)

    P.S. in WinXP_SP2 no problems

    k i first installed the modded bios u told me todo
    than i flashed back the normal bios i sAVED SO NOW I STILL have 28 days too activate my windows!!
