   You said you have the ASUS M2N32-SLI Deluxe board and have flased the BIOS with success activation right? I hope i got the same board but mine said wireless edition does your say the same? Please let me know if they are the same and you have successfully flased the BIOS.

   If I see this right, you only changed some OEM-IDs/Strings (if not all and inserted the (empty) SLIC-Certificate. This could not work…

   I think, the possible way to mod an AMI is to rename a ACPI-Table to “SLIC” and set OEM-String in this Table. Then you have to insert FC-Module (via AMIMMWIN).

   So far, so good…

   This mod works im my 939DUAL-SATA2, I see the SLIC, but there is no activation, because of the missing link between SLIC-Table and SLIC-DigitalCertificate. I think there schould be a Pointer to the Certifikate, but I dont know, where to search for it.

   Try this:
   AMI has an embedded recovery technique in the ‘boot block’ of the BIOS.
   Step by Step:

   1. Rename latest AMI BIOS file to AMIBOOT.ROM and save it on a blank floppy disk. e.g. Rename 12345678.ROM to AMIBOOT.ROM
   2. Insert this floppy disk in the floppy drive. Turn On the system
   3. If no floppy access occurs press and hold Ctrl-Home to force update. Follow insructions on the screen and it will read the AMIBOOT.ROM file and recover the BIOS from the A drive.
   4. When 4 beeps are heard you may remove the floppy disk.
   5. Restart the computer.

   If This works thank Marmo from another forum.

    Looking for any help in modding a Supermicro H8DCE for SLA 2.0. I’ve done my DFI NF4 Infinity SLI myself, and successfully, but the H8DCE is AMI, and I only know how to do Award BIOSes.

    Also, someone should toss together a disposable forum somewhere for this stuff.

    Another question: If you take a BIOS with (for example) 1GB offsets and boot it with 512MB, Vista hard resets the system. If you go the opposite direction, using 512MB offsets on a box with 4GB, does the same happen??

    Hey guys,

    i have 1535MB memory,if i understand correctly one must calculate the HEX value(for 1535) and put this hex into “physical adress” in Memorydump?

    512mb=1fff0000
    768mb=2fff0000
    1GB=3fff0000

    can anyone give me hex value for 1,5GB(1535mb)

    i have pci-e card but after flashing there is no display.then i remove the card and plug the monitor to onboard video but no luck.

    the whole BIOS post process and the beep sound is missing.but the power light of mobo is ON.DVD ROMs
    are functional.but no DISPLAY.

    please do something.
