   Hi, I’ve added SLIC tables, so here is your bios.

   Anyway, in order to enable SLIC Tables under Everest, you must use HWDirect software tool, going under “Memory Dump” and open Everest “Motherboard”, “ACPI” and then under HWDirect you must click on “Memory DUMP” and insert the RSDT address, while in Hex Dump put for example 2800000 and then search ASCII string “SLIC”. At last write on notepad the memory address for SLIC and paste it to me so i can add it to ACPITBL.BIN and making a perfect bios for you.

   My question: product key should be inserted during normal installation, or as the very last step ie. first with certificate and next with the key, as last step.
   Does it matter or not?

    I have 2 requests and I am currently downloading the Dell OEM Vista Ultimate DVD. The first Motherboard is the Gigabyte GA-m55Plus-s3g Avail. Here:

    Is it possible to modify a BIOS for the Acer Aspire 5670/5620 series? The whole serieses have the same BIOS, newest Version in the Vista Update Pack on the Acer website, in the Aspire 5670 Series Section (Version 3236). BUt eventhough they call that a Vista Update pack, there’s no SLP 2.0 support
    So is it possible to do such a modification? It’s a phoenix BIOS but I can’t even find a BIOS Editor for Phoenix BIOS … I just have no experience with that kind of stuff …

    Anyone who sais it’S possible? Any help?

    I have the gigabyte m55plus-s3g and downloaded the newest bios and attempted this and I got stuck rather fast I used WinHex and XVI32 and I could not find the string RSDT, any ideas ?
