   You can use Winflash on VISTA just disable UAC

   RUN msconfig
   tools TAB
   Disable UAC

   I’m using Business x86

    thanks for the step by step solutions.
    I tried with one that you linked image which is bootme and I transfer the file to my flash usb drive but the system doesn’t read the bootme.
    I changed boot priority and system just doesn’t read. should I have another boot image?

    U can use ASUS OEM Vista Key. Ex. Ultimate - Ultimate key, Business - Business Key, and so on..

    My question:

    May I use any asus serial number for my vista ulimate install??
    Or Only one special key for my downloaded retail version?

    (My bios and oemcert is set to Asus but my mobo is Abit IC-7)

    Yes but how I do run CMD as Admin ?

    I create only one session, I think it’s obligatory an Admin session ?

    1st command is to input key, Ultimate key in your case.

    2nd command is to regist the oem certification.

    Don’t forget to rum CMD as Administrator, to type the commands.

    I don’t understand exactly, I have only one command line to enter after Vista installation ?

    what the difference ?

    slmgr.vbs -ipk (ASUS OEM KEY 4 UR VISTA)

    and

    slmgr.vbs -ilc (UR DIR) oemcert.xrm-ms

    I have to enter -ilc or -ipk ?

    I can enter ULTIMATE ProductKey ?

    Ultimate: 6F2D7…..

    Works for Abit KN8 SLI too. Confirmed. The ultra and SLI versions of the board has the same BIOS. I think the an8 sli and ani ultra share the same bios. Gr8 job Niko76.

    Try this, but probably you need to use Everest and see RSDT Memory Address and then found correct memory address for SLIC Tables in order to fix bios.

    You can see what features your mobo don’t support and disable it on IC7-E bios.

    Anyway post a valid link for your bios and I’ll have a look.

    Don’t insert any serial during Vista installation. At the end, enable activation of the Asus OEM Certificate ant then the product key, under command prompt (with admin privileges). Follow the guides on this site. If you do all correctly, it will work 100%
