   Please Help Me ;(

   I want to make a fresh install with my Asus A8N SLI Deluxe

   For a fresh Intall I need to enter Serialkey ?

   because I don’t know if the serialkey is usefull only for an XP—>Vista Upgrade.

   i forced instalation bios is7-e on my is7-m mobo but there are some problems.
   windows status is activted but there are problems with digital files signing(?) and windows shows error during startup.if i hit f8 and disable it then windows boot up. the same problem is when i try fresh install works only when files signing is disabled. i’am on my old bios again. any help with is7-m bios? what method did u used to modify is7-e bios add or replace ?

   first download a bootimage like this
   http://spock.uccs.edu/pub/bootdisks/bootme.exe
   with winimage open it
   connect your usb key
   go to disk -> select your usb key drive
   (perhaps winimage propose to save so save
   go to image -> change format -> select Import format from curently selected disk
   go to disk -> write disk
   (it will erase all your data on your usb key)
   when u finish
   dont forget to download afudos for flashing from dos and of course your bios file (into your usb key )
   let your usb key pluged when u reboot
   check into your bios setting to boot into usb

    Asus A8V Deluxe modded bios have tried this but it dosent seem to work had a look in everest & is not showing SLIC tables any help would be apreciated

    if u have a recent mobo
    u can make a bootdisk with an usb key
    check to bootdisk.com
    and Winimage tool to convert floppydisk image to your usb key

    How do you guys update the bios on VISTA?
    I currently have Vista business and want to upgrade to ultimate. So I tried to install asus bios update utility but system didn’t allow me to install the bios utility. I don’t have floffy drive. How can I update the bios?
