   Anyone successed in flahing Aopen bios post above?
   Both awadflash and aopen’s flashing tool say it checksum error and can’t go on.
   U don’t need to own the MB,
   Just use the tool to load the modified bios and u will see it not work

    i’ve tried the modded bios for ASUS
    ASUS P5LD2-Deluxe
    but doesn’t work, system boot up perfectly but activation is still required, checked bios with everest and no slic table inside.

    Will ASUS P5B-E – BIOS version 1002 work with my “P5B”.

    The latest bios for P5B is also 1002.

    i need your help Niko, to physically mod ASUS P5PE-VM with AMI bios. can MMTOOl v3.12 help to add SLIC table in ACPI module? because CBROM dont work for me.
    i can see the ACPI module using EVEREST version 3.8.926 Beta, so my AMI bios can be moded.
    please help me Niko…

    Yes, but you need to use hwdirect when flashing modded one in order to find slic mem address and then fix again bios before activating Vista.
