Toshiba Satellite A135-S4499 Laptop

Satellite A135-S4499 – a fairly long and forgettable name? This is one of the first entry level notebooks from Toshiba, which come with two hard drives for extra storage or automatic backup.

Equipped with 2GB memory and an Intel Core 2 Duo processor running at 1.66GHz, the Toshiba laptop has two SATA 120GB hard drives that can be configured in three ways. They can be used separately; both can be chained together to create one large drive, or one can be used to back up the other. The design of the hard drives is excellent if you want to organize your database in a more structured way. You can design one hard drive for business applications and the other for personal files such as music, photos, video clips, etc.

Toshiba is quite a reliable brand. However, it always has a serious overheating problem. This problem occurs after the laptop has been left running for long time. When it is overheated, it will normally shut down automatically. But Satellite A135-S4499 is quite new to the market and so far no complaints have emerged yet.

The laptop is priced at $1,499.99. It runs Windows Vista Ultimate, the latest version of Microsoft’s new operating system. It has a 5-in-1 media card adapted and a 15.4 inch screen (with resolution of 1,280 x 800 pixels). Other specifications are as follows:
