Unable to Delete Photo Folders
Buffered or cached thumbnails of pictures and photos might prevent computer users from deleting certain folders on their computer, if pictures were stored in those folders. It’s one of the reason where you get the the access denied, sharing violation or unable to delete due the files are been used error.
To avoid this problem, open Windows Explorer and look under the Extras Tools menu. From Tools menu, pick Folder Options and then View tab. Once there, activate the option “Don’t cache/buffer thumbnails”. This allows users to delete certain folders entirely.
