TimerLock Automated Batch Install Script for TimerStop Driver v2a and Windows Vista Activation 2099 Crack
TimerStop v2a driver crack for Windows Vista activation is a popular workaround to bypass Windows Vista activation, as it locks the Vista machine activation grace period in within officially allowed 30-day duration which fools the Microsoft to treat the system as newly installed for trial usage and not yet activated. Hence, the all Windows Vista edition, including Windows Vista Ultimate cracked with TimerStop may able to access Windows Update, download Ultimate Extras, enable Internet Time sync, and other free software from Microsoft Download Center. To make the application of TimerStop.sys patch easier, pembros has posted on anti Windows Product Activation (WPA) forum a batch script (now contained inside a program) TimerLock that automated the TimerStop.sys driver installation process.
The TimerLock batch script or executable comes with original working version 2a (v2a) of TimerStop.sys and TimerStop64.sys by offlinevista. The command script will firstly install TimerStop driver with a random file name (so you won’t find TimerStop.sys and/or TimerStop64.sys on your system as the name is randomize to minimize the risk been caught by Microsoft). Then it applies the 2099 crack (and thus will use one rearm count, if your Vista 3 times rearm allocation is used up, you may need to reinstall Vista) and restarts. Upon restart the system will be restored to original date. The process also auto disable driver enforcement in 64bit Vista (32-bit TimerStop.sys driver has built-in workaround to the Vista unsigned driver restriction) to skip warning about unsigned driver, and will work on any localized language or region version of Windows Vista as it change the date format during the process silently.
As TimerStop drivers will be installed with a random name, CurrentName.dat file will be created in TimeStop folder to record the actual name of the system. Keep the file or write down the name of the installed driver on your system just in case you need to uninstall TimerStop driver.
Note: (Only if not working) For TimerLock to work in 64-bit Windows Vista Ultimate x64, although the script has built-in support to disable unsigned driver warning, you may have to disable driver enforcement manually with command provided by Shadowchaser:
bcdedit -set loadoptions \”DDISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS”
Note: Use updated version only if previous version failed or unable to work. Beside, TimerLock won’t work on Microsoft Virtual PC 2007.
Latest Version: TimerLock 2.6
Download TimerLockSetup.zip version 2.6 – Fixed divide by zero errors with few small tweaks.
Download TimerLock version 1.4 (TimerLock.zip – previously version 4).
Download TimerLock version 1.5 (TimerLock.zip – previously version 5).
Download TimerLock version 2.0 (TimerLockSetup.zip from here or here) – Has changed from batch script to executable with ability to work alongside with UAC.
Download TimerLock version 2.1 (TimerLockSetup.zip) – New icon, fix (hopefully) incorrect admin privileges checking and other bug fixes.
Download TimerLock version 2.2 (TimerLockSetup.zip) – Removed admin check that always fails for x64 users, added OS check and UAC checking, with ability to work from any non-temp location on any drive now.
Download TimerLock version 2.3 (TimerLockSetup.zip) – Full support for 32-bit and 64-bit (x32 and x64) Windows Vista.
Download TimerLock 2.4 (TimerLockSetup.zip) – Use this version if you don’t like some anti virus software returns false positive status that the crack contains trojan named Generic3.AEW.
To automatically apply the TimerStop driver to crack and bypass Windows Vista activation by using the TimerLock script:
- Install Windows Vista without entering any product key. If you have already installed Windows Vista, make sure you don’t use up the 3 times legal rearm limit. Anyway, version 5 will ensure that TimerStop driver is installed even though rearm allowances have been used up.
- After installation setup complete, boot up Windows Vista system with user id with administrator rights.
- Disconnect from Internet if necessary.
- Turn off UAC. (Not necessary required since version 2.0, try only if unsuccessful)
- Extract the TimerLock.zip or TimerLockSetup.zip to a folder.
- Run install.bat or TimerLockSetup.exe to activate TimerLock script.
- When prompted to restart computer, press OK.
- System should prompt that the patch was installed properly. If not check your system date if it has properly set back.
- Optional: If you have problem that the activation timer counts down between restarts or reboots, manually apply 2099 trick.
- Check if your activation remaining timer still counting down with slmgr.vbs -dlv command in elevated command prompt.
If the TimerLock auto Vista activator and patcher doesn’t work for you, you can always apply Timer Stopper TimerStop driver (v2a) manually.

Everyone, just use the latest version of Timerlock because it will be the one to most likely work. Don’t question this, its common sense

khidbz, you are a moron to install Vista with a key. That is your problem, and your problem alone.

I’m a novice and not getting it to work. I installed Timestop v2a and upon reboot, the timer is still counting down. It is Vista Ultimate, however I did enter the product key upon loading it. Is this the issue and do I need to reload vista without the product key for it to work? Thanks for your kind assistance

I applied the patch and using “slmgr.vbs -dlv” the timer is at 43200 minutes, but I’m still getting a pop-up window saying I need to activate within 21 days. I’m not sure if the system will be locked in 3 weeks. Doing a “slmgr.vbs -xpr” says the initial grace period stops in 30 days, and this date keeps being pushed back. Am I at risk at getting locked out?

Ok, this is wierd. The path in the registry was
\?\c:\windows\system32\timerstop.sys
I’ve updated the registry with the correct path but it still doesn’t load. I cannot see it in the Services window either.
It still won’t run after startup. When testing it through the application, it fails with the correct path. After uninstall & reinstal, it is now working but the path is still funky. Reboot stops the timer again.
Any other suggestions? What should the image path show?

lol, Sry for anybody who has had trouble with it. I downloaded the crack on 4 different machines and each time it worked flawlessly. I’m going to be very weary of updates from MS though. I’m using ultimate 32-bit on a 64-bit machine, yea i know. But I couldnt get a copy of a 64-bit. I’ve installed every update so far with no problem, even all the Ultimate extras (which require genuine) worked flawless. Good luck to all!

Whew!!! I’m so happy right now to say that I finally got the timer to stay at 43200 min/30 days by using timerlock v 2.3 on the 64bit version of windows vista ultimate. Very relieved because I seem to have one of those subborn machines that are immune to every other method I’ve attempted since late November. I must have reinstalled the damn OS 10-15 times now. After all the hours devoted to reaching a final victory – I feel that I’ve earned the $400 it would take to buy Vista. I just want to give a huge thanks to all who have posted info & the associated links to this site!
I’m still unclear on how to avoid or to make sure I have not already received the updates KB931573 & KB929391 or if they will affect timerlock v 2.3 at all. I’ve seen cloaims that all updates work & it’s fine to leave automatic updates on without fear of getting hit with the freaky “Not Genuine” notice, but if someone in the know could give me more info on the subject I would greatly appreciate it.

And am i correct to say that the only traces to the driver in the registry are in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet00x\Services\… where x stands for one number between 1-8
February 25th, 2007 16:51
I found out the name of the driver through reading it in CurrentName.dat. So i deleted all traces of that driver on my computer and in the registry. But when i run the TimerLockSetup.exe just to make sure, it stills says my driver is still installed. Can anyone help me remove this driver completely from my system.

James Lisco,
I do not know as much about this crack as some people do. I also do not know what the service is called, but if it is listed in the Windows Management Console, you can set it to start automatically:
1. Click on Start.
2. In the “Start Search” box, type “services”.
3. Under the “Programs” category that comes up, click on “Services”.
4. Click “Continue”.
5. Right click on the service in the list and select “Properties”.
6. Using the pull down box next to “Startup type:”, select “Automatic”.
7. Restart to make sure the service starts automatically.
Hope this helps. If it does not, someone else probably knows how to fix it.
February 25th, 2007 03:34
Anonymous, thanks for the info.
For some reason, the timerstop service installs but doesn’t start automatically. When rebooted, the service shows “stopped” and I have to manually start it with net start. It then shows “running”.
I’m not sure what’s going on here. How can I set the service manually to auto-run?
February 24th, 2007 16:04
oYou guys think that SP1 for Vista will kill the timer clock? I hope not, or I hope some smart guys create bypasses.
February 24th, 2007 12:50
James Lisco,
This setup has been running since yesterday and the timer has been checked a number of times after several reboots and many application installs. freedom seems to be right, TimerLock seems to work on some machines and not on others. However, you could always install manually:
1. Enter the bios.
2. Leaving the day and month the same, see how far the year can be set ahead before rolling over to the 1900s (remember this, but DO NOT actually set the date).
3. Exit the bios WITHOUT saving changes.
4. Install Vista without a key.
5. Once in Vista, right click on “Command Prompt” and select “Run as administrator”.
6. Type “date” and hit Enter.
7. Type a date as far ahead in the future as the bios will let you (step 2) in the format MM/DD/YYYY and hit Enter.
8. Type “cscript slmgr.vbs -rearm” and hit Enter (may have to wait).
9. Type “date” and hit Enter.
10. Type today’s date in the format MM/DD/YYYY and hit Enter.
11. If running 64-bit, type “bcdedit -set loadoptions \”DDISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS”” and hit Enter (may have to wait).
12. Close Command Prompt.
13. Download TimerStop_Crack_V2.0.rar from http://www.verzend.be/v/6422958/TimerStop_Crack_V2.0.rar.html
14. Extract the rar archive.
15. Double click on install.exe.
16. Respond to any dialog boxes that pop up to allow the application to run.
17. Once the application opens, click “Install”.
18. Reboot to finish.
19. You should now be able to install ALL Windows updates.
February 24th, 2007 05:33
Anonymous, how long have you had this setup? I’ve done the same thing but my timer keeps on ticking.
February 24th, 2007 04:45
Anyone think maybe the reason why the crack works on some machines and not others is because of a hardware issue? Perhaps certain hardware configs enable security checks that Vista uses, while other configs do not? Just a thought…
February 24th, 2007 04:19
After installing Vista Ultimate x64 and installing TimerLock 2.4, all updates (INCLUDING the WGA update) were installed, and the crack still works. TimerLock did everything itself. There is no need to make any changes or apply any commands before installing Vista or TimerLock. During the TimerLock install, a message came up about the driver not being signed. Just click “Close”, because the crack installs successfully anyway. The command slmgr.vbs -dlv was entered in command prompt after installing ALL Windows updates, and the timer still stands at 43200 minutes and 30 days. You can also pass Genuine Windows Validation on Microsoft’s website to download software there as well. You can use Vista as if it was activated.
February 23rd, 2007 09:23
Ok, so I now downloaded all of the MS patches except the **573 WGA crap.
The timer counts down but resets to 43140 minutes after rebooting. Is this normal?
With this method, I guess you have to reboot once every 30 days.
February 23rd, 2007 06:39
Well, I re-applied the timer, rebooted and changed the system clock in the bios from 2038 back to 2007. After several reboots, the timer is still at 30 days 43200.
Any idea what may have happened? The only difference from the first and second times is the date rollback through the bios?
Is this a necessary step? Or does it sometimes take a few tries to make it stick.
OK, Vista updates .. I know to avoid KB931573 & KB929391 … is it safe to update everything else?
Thanks in advance.
February 23rd, 2007 06:31
I am running Vista Ultimate, no updates and just ran timerlocksetup 2.4.
The timer is set right until I reboot. Something is different about this setup. My machine is NOT connected to the internet either.
Can someone confirm that this works with Ultimate also? Am I doing something wrong .. I followed the directions exactly.
February 23rd, 2007 03:23
Is there a way to get Office 2007 installed? I’ve heard the WGA is pretty tough too.
February 23rd, 2007 03:03
Don’t worry about it. I downloaded Visual Basic and Visual C++ Express Edition, and that crack started to relinquish.
This one works best. Also, that update, what about it? Avoid or install?
February 23rd, 2007 02:52
Will the “initial grace peroid” license allow updates from MS? I just used the timer patch and no other method.
Is there anything else I need to do?
