TimerLock Automated Batch Install Script for TimerStop Driver v2a and Windows Vista Activation 2099 Crack
TimerStop v2a driver crack for Windows Vista activation is a popular workaround to bypass Windows Vista activation, as it locks the Vista machine activation grace period in within officially allowed 30-day duration which fools the Microsoft to treat the system as newly installed for trial usage and not yet activated. Hence, the all Windows Vista edition, including Windows Vista Ultimate cracked with TimerStop may able to access Windows Update, download Ultimate Extras, enable Internet Time sync, and other free software from Microsoft Download Center. To make the application of TimerStop.sys patch easier, pembros has posted on anti Windows Product Activation (WPA) forum a batch script (now contained inside a program) TimerLock that automated the TimerStop.sys driver installation process.
The TimerLock batch script or executable comes with original working version 2a (v2a) of TimerStop.sys and TimerStop64.sys by offlinevista. The command script will firstly install TimerStop driver with a random file name (so you won’t find TimerStop.sys and/or TimerStop64.sys on your system as the name is randomize to minimize the risk been caught by Microsoft). Then it applies the 2099 crack (and thus will use one rearm count, if your Vista 3 times rearm allocation is used up, you may need to reinstall Vista) and restarts. Upon restart the system will be restored to original date. The process also auto disable driver enforcement in 64bit Vista (32-bit TimerStop.sys driver has built-in workaround to the Vista unsigned driver restriction) to skip warning about unsigned driver, and will work on any localized language or region version of Windows Vista as it change the date format during the process silently.
As TimerStop drivers will be installed with a random name, CurrentName.dat file will be created in TimeStop folder to record the actual name of the system. Keep the file or write down the name of the installed driver on your system just in case you need to uninstall TimerStop driver.
Note: (Only if not working) For TimerLock to work in 64-bit Windows Vista Ultimate x64, although the script has built-in support to disable unsigned driver warning, you may have to disable driver enforcement manually with command provided by Shadowchaser:
bcdedit -set loadoptions \”DDISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS”
Note: Use updated version only if previous version failed or unable to work. Beside, TimerLock won’t work on Microsoft Virtual PC 2007.
Latest Version: TimerLock 2.6
Download TimerLockSetup.zip version 2.6 – Fixed divide by zero errors with few small tweaks.
Download TimerLock version 1.4 (TimerLock.zip – previously version 4).
Download TimerLock version 1.5 (TimerLock.zip – previously version 5).
Download TimerLock version 2.0 (TimerLockSetup.zip from here or here) – Has changed from batch script to executable with ability to work alongside with UAC.
Download TimerLock version 2.1 (TimerLockSetup.zip) – New icon, fix (hopefully) incorrect admin privileges checking and other bug fixes.
Download TimerLock version 2.2 (TimerLockSetup.zip) – Removed admin check that always fails for x64 users, added OS check and UAC checking, with ability to work from any non-temp location on any drive now.
Download TimerLock version 2.3 (TimerLockSetup.zip) – Full support for 32-bit and 64-bit (x32 and x64) Windows Vista.
Download TimerLock 2.4 (TimerLockSetup.zip) – Use this version if you don’t like some anti virus software returns false positive status that the crack contains trojan named Generic3.AEW.
To automatically apply the TimerStop driver to crack and bypass Windows Vista activation by using the TimerLock script:
- Install Windows Vista without entering any product key. If you have already installed Windows Vista, make sure you don’t use up the 3 times legal rearm limit. Anyway, version 5 will ensure that TimerStop driver is installed even though rearm allowances have been used up.
- After installation setup complete, boot up Windows Vista system with user id with administrator rights.
- Disconnect from Internet if necessary.
- Turn off UAC. (Not necessary required since version 2.0, try only if unsuccessful)
- Extract the TimerLock.zip or TimerLockSetup.zip to a folder.
- Run install.bat or TimerLockSetup.exe to activate TimerLock script.
- When prompted to restart computer, press OK.
- System should prompt that the patch was installed properly. If not check your system date if it has properly set back.
- Optional: If you have problem that the activation timer counts down between restarts or reboots, manually apply 2099 trick.
- Check if your activation remaining timer still counting down with slmgr.vbs -dlv command in elevated command prompt.
If the TimerLock auto Vista activator and patcher doesn’t work for you, you can always apply Timer Stopper TimerStop driver (v2a) manually.

I’ve been using TimerLock since the begining. It does work. It works with any version of Vista, 32bit/64bit. I have both myself & my girl friend using Vista Enterprise. What is critical is you do not put a serial number when installing Vista. Even though you don’t have to, I disable UAC before running TimerLock. I prefer Vista w/UAC disabled. Run TimerLock, then follow the prompts.

ZZ (corrected): Timerstop will have problems with sp1. Actually it appears that almost any manipulation of the clock with Vista sp1 shuts down certain parts of the OS. It can be fixed by a re-arm with the current date but then of course you’ll lose your 2099 trick, an essential part of making timerstop work. I don’t know what MS palns to do when someone’s battery goes!

August 2nd, 2007 03:57
I installed this update. For some reason I had 30days left but it decreased it to 15 days. When I do slmgr.vbs -dlv it says I have 21600 min remaining. It does not change. Why did it decrease from 30 to 15 days? Did I do something wrong?
July 28th, 2007 03:47
yeah if you run “slmgr.vbs -dlv” in elevated command prompt it will show 43200 minutes (and never count down) but if you right click on my computer the days will be counting down. Why???
July 7th, 2007 02:43
For testing purposes on Windows 2008 CTP (newest release), the methods of trying to crack Longhorn is no longer applicable. If you try to crack Windows, the hash rules now know you have changed the valid files sugnature and will disable your systems. Microsoft is now ahead and will apply the same technique to foil the Vista illegal copies. Everytime a “path” is developed” an update will trigger the hash correction and thus disable your system. Purchase your Vista through the proper channels.
Timerlock is no longer applicable to Longhorn 2008. It says successful but will require activation or license before you log in during reboot phase.

I want to install Vista again. I tried TimerLock 2.6, but I had the same problem as “happening” first reported (Activation icon appears, countdown appears on icon tray, but slmg.vbs still shows 43xxxx minutes)…I went back to XP before the countdown was up.
Can anyone confirm that that Activation countdown would self-destruct Vista?
Your replies are greatly appreciated!

Happening…the same thing is happening to me to, i get a pop up by the clock where the time is decreasing but when i check slmgr.vbs -dlv i still have the same amount of time. If i click on the pop up and the activation window opens it says i have 25 days left (was 27 two days ago) but if i open the activation window by navigating to it through windows help, i have 30 days. March 3rd, 2007 11:55
Interesting, I’ve installed the patch correctly, when using slmgr.vbs -dlv the time no longer counts down – however windows every so often asks me to activate.
the amount of time left to active in the dialog that pops up is however counting down, even though what is reported by slmgr.vbs -dlv isn’t.
any ideas? cheers!

I am running x64 ultimate so there is the annoying watermakr whioch cant be removed. Can anyone kindly send a site wehere i can retrieve these files back. And can you use this time stopper crack after reisntalling the rtm fiels from the old crack?
February 28th, 2007 07:50
I’m a novice and not getting it to work. I installed Timestop v2a and upon reboot, the timer is still counting down. It is Vista Ultimate, however I did enter the product key upon loading it. Is this the issue and do I need to reload vista without the product key for it to work? Thanks for your kind assistance
February 28th, 2007 00:06
I applied the patch and using “slmgr.vbs -dlv” the timer is at 43200 minutes, but I’m still getting a pop-up window saying I need to activate within 21 days. I’m not sure if the system will be locked in 3 weeks. Doing a “slmgr.vbs -xpr” says the initial grace period stops in 30 days, and this date keeps being pushed back. Am I at risk at getting locked out?
February 27th, 2007 02:50
Ok, this is wierd. The path in the registry was
\?\c:\windows\system32\timerstop.sys
I’ve updated the registry with the correct path but it still doesn’t load. I cannot see it in the Services window either.
It still won’t run after startup. When testing it through the application, it fails with the correct path. After uninstall & reinstal, it is now working but the path is still funky. Reboot stops the timer again.
Any other suggestions? What should the image path show?
February 27th, 2007 00:45
lol, Sry for anybody who has had trouble with it. I downloaded the crack on 4 different machines and each time it worked flawlessly. I’m going to be very weary of updates from MS though. I’m using ultimate 32-bit on a 64-bit machine, yea i know. But I couldnt get a copy of a 64-bit. I’ve installed every update so far with no problem, even all the Ultimate extras (which require genuine) worked flawless. Good luck to all!
February 26th, 2007 20:03
Whew!!! I’m so happy right now to say that I finally got the timer to stay at 43200 min/30 days by using timerlock v 2.3 on the 64bit version of windows vista ultimate. Very relieved because I seem to have one of those subborn machines that are immune to every other method I’ve attempted since late November. I must have reinstalled the damn OS 10-15 times now. After all the hours devoted to reaching a final victory – I feel that I’ve earned the $400 it would take to buy Vista. I just want to give a huge thanks to all who have posted info & the associated links to this site!
I’m still unclear on how to avoid or to make sure I have not already received the updates KB931573 & KB929391 or if they will affect timerlock v 2.3 at all. I’ve seen cloaims that all updates work & it’s fine to leave automatic updates on without fear of getting hit with the freaky “Not Genuine” notice, but if someone in the know could give me more info on the subject I would greatly appreciate it.
February 25th, 2007 17:58
And am i correct to say that the only traces to the driver in the registry are in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet00x\Services\… where x stands for one number between 1-8
February 25th, 2007 16:51
I found out the name of the driver through reading it in CurrentName.dat. So i deleted all traces of that driver on my computer and in the registry. But when i run the TimerLockSetup.exe just to make sure, it stills says my driver is still installed. Can anyone help me remove this driver completely from my system.
February 25th, 2007 06:09
James Lisco,
I do not know as much about this crack as some people do. I also do not know what the service is called, but if it is listed in the Windows Management Console, you can set it to start automatically:
1. Click on Start.
2. In the “Start Search” box, type “services”.
3. Under the “Programs” category that comes up, click on “Services”.
4. Click “Continue”.
5. Right click on the service in the list and select “Properties”.
6. Using the pull down box next to “Startup type:”, select “Automatic”.
7. Restart to make sure the service starts automatically.
Hope this helps. If it does not, someone else probably knows how to fix it.
February 25th, 2007 03:34
Anonymous, thanks for the info.
For some reason, the timerstop service installs but doesn’t start automatically. When rebooted, the service shows “stopped” and I have to manually start it with net start. It then shows “running”.
I’m not sure what’s going on here. How can I set the service manually to auto-run?
February 24th, 2007 16:04
oYou guys think that SP1 for Vista will kill the timer clock? I hope not, or I hope some smart guys create bypasses.
February 24th, 2007 12:50
James Lisco,
This setup has been running since yesterday and the timer has been checked a number of times after several reboots and many application installs. freedom seems to be right, TimerLock seems to work on some machines and not on others. However, you could always install manually:
1. Enter the bios.
2. Leaving the day and month the same, see how far the year can be set ahead before rolling over to the 1900s (remember this, but DO NOT actually set the date).
3. Exit the bios WITHOUT saving changes.
4. Install Vista without a key.
5. Once in Vista, right click on “Command Prompt” and select “Run as administrator”.
6. Type “date” and hit Enter.
7. Type a date as far ahead in the future as the bios will let you (step 2) in the format MM/DD/YYYY and hit Enter.
8. Type “cscript slmgr.vbs -rearm” and hit Enter (may have to wait).
9. Type “date” and hit Enter.
10. Type today’s date in the format MM/DD/YYYY and hit Enter.
11. If running 64-bit, type “bcdedit -set loadoptions \”DDISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS”” and hit Enter (may have to wait).
12. Close Command Prompt.
13. Download TimerStop_Crack_V2.0.rar from http://www.verzend.be/v/6422958/TimerStop_Crack_V2.0.rar.html
14. Extract the rar archive.
15. Double click on install.exe.
16. Respond to any dialog boxes that pop up to allow the application to run.
17. Once the application opens, click “Install”.
18. Reboot to finish.
19. You should now be able to install ALL Windows updates.
February 24th, 2007 05:33
Anonymous, how long have you had this setup? I’ve done the same thing but my timer keeps on ticking.
February 24th, 2007 04:45
Anyone think maybe the reason why the crack works on some machines and not others is because of a hardware issue? Perhaps certain hardware configs enable security checks that Vista uses, while other configs do not? Just a thought…
February 24th, 2007 04:19
After installing Vista Ultimate x64 and installing TimerLock 2.4, all updates (INCLUDING the WGA update) were installed, and the crack still works. TimerLock did everything itself. There is no need to make any changes or apply any commands before installing Vista or TimerLock. During the TimerLock install, a message came up about the driver not being signed. Just click “Close”, because the crack installs successfully anyway. The command slmgr.vbs -dlv was entered in command prompt after installing ALL Windows updates, and the timer still stands at 43200 minutes and 30 days. You can also pass Genuine Windows Validation on Microsoft’s website to download software there as well. You can use Vista as if it was activated.
February 23rd, 2007 09:23
Ok, so I now downloaded all of the MS patches except the **573 WGA crap.
The timer counts down but resets to 43140 minutes after rebooting. Is this normal?
With this method, I guess you have to reboot once every 30 days.
February 23rd, 2007 06:39
Well, I re-applied the timer, rebooted and changed the system clock in the bios from 2038 back to 2007. After several reboots, the timer is still at 30 days 43200.
Any idea what may have happened? The only difference from the first and second times is the date rollback through the bios?
Is this a necessary step? Or does it sometimes take a few tries to make it stick.
OK, Vista updates .. I know to avoid KB931573 & KB929391 … is it safe to update everything else?
Thanks in advance.
February 23rd, 2007 06:31
I am running Vista Ultimate, no updates and just ran timerlocksetup 2.4.
The timer is set right until I reboot. Something is different about this setup. My machine is NOT connected to the internet either.
Can someone confirm that this works with Ultimate also? Am I doing something wrong .. I followed the directions exactly.
February 23rd, 2007 03:23
Is there a way to get Office 2007 installed? I’ve heard the WGA is pretty tough too.
February 23rd, 2007 03:03
Don’t worry about it. I downloaded Visual Basic and Visual C++ Express Edition, and that crack started to relinquish.
This one works best. Also, that update, what about it? Avoid or install?
February 23rd, 2007 02:52
Will the “initial grace peroid” license allow updates from MS? I just used the timer patch and no other method.
Is there anything else I need to do?
February 23rd, 2007 02:42
I’m using TimerLock 2.0 with Vista Ultimate. It works really nice
Does anybody know if there will be any problems with KB931573 ???
February 23rd, 2007 02:34

I have a question though. I intalled Visual Studio 2003 last time, and I suppose SQL server got installed, and my slmgr.vbs -dlv didn’t work anymore.
Oh, can I download the validate tool from their website with this crack so I can download software?
February 22nd, 2007 00:11
what’s the procedure to apply 2.4 on Vista Ultimate x64? May I have to install it in year 2099 and then modify the registry with
”bcdedit -set loadoptions \”DDISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS” ”
and then apply timer lock 2.4? is it right?
February 21st, 2007 11:05
holy shit…this one actually works!!! unlike fucking TTIMESTOP V2. this one actually stops the fucking time. i restarted it like 30 times and its still at 30 days 43200 mintues!!!!! its so easy to do as well. just run as adminstarter and bam. just let the pc do its thang and restart. this shit is awsome. i get all the uodates. all the shit!!!!! this is a very good and simple way of getting windows vista!!! and it works on all versions!!!
thanx again!!
pow right in the kisser!!
representen VSS mofuckas!!!!

I have installed all the updates and WGA tool and my vista is working perfectly, update, download everything.
February 20th, 2007 23:05
theres an autopatcher for vista (all versions) that bypasses having to go to the update site floating around on the internet (9down.com?) so u don’t have to validate vista to get updates.. maybe this helps?
February 20th, 2007 18:05
do not install KB931573 and WGA pach, wich is KB929391. You can download Extras and all other updates, do not try to validate windows in other metod to download software from microsoft.com
February 20th, 2007 17:52
I’ve just installed vista…I was wondering, if anyone knows wich updates I should Not install so that the timerstop method keeps working. Can anyone help here? Can I install the Ultimate Extras?
Thanks.
Cheers.

Hallo,
what’s the procedure to apply 2.4 on Vista Ultimate x64? May I have to install it in year 2099 and then modify the registry with
”bcdedit -set loadoptions \”DDISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS” ”
and then apply timer lock 2.4? is it right?
February 19th, 2007 20:06
Hello.
When i first installed the Vista 32bit Ultimate (clean install) i set the BIOS to 2099 and after installation, i set the time to 2007.
One day later it showed “29 days remaining”, so that clearly didn’t work.
I have “auto update” disabled.
Yesterday i applied the hack from here, and it seemed to work – i got 30 days again, however after the procedure my clock was set to 2038. I set it back to 2007 (from within Windows). It remains yet to be seen if it worked (will check around midnight when it was 24 hours since i applied the hack).
If it’s 29 days again, what can i do?
February 19th, 2007 12:55
Im using Timerstop v2a. It works great.
However, you would have to uninstall and reinstall it everytime if you previously shutdown your comp.
Apparently, the counter still tick even if you shutdown.
February 19th, 2007 10:42
I’m using TimerLock 2.0 with Vista Ultimate. It works really nice. Does anybody know if there will be any problems with kbB931573 ??? It’s the only update I did not install.
February 19th, 2007 09:46
Thank you very much admin, I found it.
February 19th, 2007 09:38
The file CurrentName.dat needs to be moved from version to version so the installer knows you have it already installed. You can browse the registry under HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\ (ControlSet001 & 002 as well I assume) and delete one of the random 5 character numbered drivers from the registry along with the file in your Windows folder. If you have the file CurrentName.dat for either install you can run the install again and it will tell you the driver name to make searching for it easier.
February 19th, 2007 09:27
Yes I have tried search it doens’t come with anything
February 19th, 2007 09:21
Dan, try to search?
February 19th, 2007 09:09
Installed the 2.4 timerlock, but it didn’t include a CurrentName.dat file in my folder. How do I know which file to uninstall?
February 19th, 2007 09:06
Try to avoid Windows Validation Update as of now. All other updates can be safely install. However, some experience timer goes down after install. So, you have to try it yourself.
February 19th, 2007 03:59
Hello all,
I stumbled across mydigitallife.info by accident and am very impressed at the patience and ready with answers attitude of admin. mydigitallife has just gotten one more daily frequenter.
I have a question about timerlock though. Considering MS is constantly releasing updates and methods to disable/counter plracy acts such as this, the question is then: What updates have MS tried to release to disable this little trick? In other words, I’m a bit concerned when getting new updates from MS. Which updates(or hotfix) should be avoided? Perhaps someone can keep an on going list of upto date “Beware of MS anti piracy actions”?
February 18th, 2007 22:03
Dan, I had the same problem, and only managed to fix it by clean reinstall, didn’t find an out. after reinstall, the crack works.
February 18th, 2007 21:16
Hey, when I try to use the crack an error comes up saying I have already used up 3 rearms. What can i do to fix this so I can use the crack?
thx
February 18th, 2007 06:29
hey guys i previously like a week ago istalled a one click Automatic crack for my 32bit Windows Vitsta Ultimate
but now i went to the slmgr.vbs -dlv to check the time and some how its not working anymore i have 29 days left WTF
so how can i get the crack to work again or should i download anorther one for example use this one the TimeLock version 2.3
please i need some help
February 18th, 2007 05:31
Hack worked, thanks a lot who ever contributed in this. Admin, can I upgrade vista without any touble?
February 18th, 2007 05:04
As of 02/17/07, all updates, including optional ones, have been installed on both a 32-bit and 64-bit virtual machine after installing the crack and the crack still works.
February 17th, 2007 20:48
is it ok to update?
February 16th, 2007 22:58
works great. still working. and i have the correct year.
February 16th, 2007 19:21
Use TimerLockSetup 2.3. It will automatically freeze time and set year 2038. Ok, tehn restart, and reset the year to current year.
February 16th, 2007 13:58
Pablo, locate the CurrentName.dat and remove the name of your TimerStop from registry.
Donald, try to rearm again and then change back the date.
All those with warning, as long as your remaining time to activation doesn’t countdown, the crack has worked. The warning is not disabled by the crack, and it’s naturally for it to appear.
February 16th, 2007 07:23
OK. I have installed the Timerlock v2.4…
now is already installed… but how can I uninstall it?
I have Windows Vista Ultimate 64bits.
February 15th, 2007 17:31
I just ran version 2.4 and after the restart it worked but it said my date had been set to 2038 and that wmp wont work because of this. is it safe to change the date back?
February 15th, 2007 02:37
After running the timerstop crack but having used up all my rearms, it stays at 5 days left. But I just had a message in the taskbar saying if I don’t activate without TWO days, vista gets disabled.
Any ideas?
I run the slmgr.vbs -dlv command to check.
February 14th, 2007 17:37
how do I completely get rid of the crack off my computer? Is there an uninstaller?
February 14th, 2007 17:13
Mr. Admin, Thanks for your explaination.
February 14th, 2007 15:34
Neo, the final product installed is all TimerStop ver2a. TimerLock is just tool to install it. So once you have applied it, there is not need to apply again with newer version.
February 14th, 2007 14:33
thanks for providing the ‘info’!
btw, if i have already installed a v2 timerlock, e.g. v2.3, when there is a new version, v2.5, can i just run the same steps to install the new version?
would it remove the old one, or causing 2 dif versions running at the same time?
February 14th, 2007 13:57
Yes!!! My timer was at 32610 and then I used this one and now it’s at the full time again!!!!! Thank you so much!!!!
February 14th, 2007 13:23
TimerLock v2.4 updated to address false positive about trojan or malware named Generic3.AEW possible due to QBFC (Quick Batch File Compiler) problem.
February 13th, 2007 11:56
well… i ran the latest crack on my soon-expiring vista x64.
i was comment #59… the crack told me vista would not rearm(which i knew..) but the stop timer installed anyway. i wasnt sure exactly what that meant so i ran “slmgr.vbs -dlv” and it said i had 4 minutes left!
i tried again 2 minutes later… still said 4 minutes!!! does this crack set the time to 4 minutes somehow or was i really this lucky to run the crack only 4 minutes before it expired!?
either way.. im happy
February 13th, 2007 11:52
autoP, version 2.3 of TimerLock which applies TimerStop version 2a is almost perfect.
February 13th, 2007 09:50
thanks for all the hard work, hopefully you can stay one step ahead of the M$ monopoly!
February 13th, 2007 09:36
I have used all my rearms(used them up back before there was a valid x64 crack :*( ) to get them back.. do i have to perform a complete format/reinstall… or is there any way to “upgrade” so that theyre back?
you mention version 5 will work around this… my x64 vista ultimate runs out today… if i have 0 days left and just dont use vista until the version 5 crack is released… will I be able to use vista(with updates) again.. or should i just try to reformat?
thanks
February 13th, 2007 07:56
kykovasu, there is no need to enter any serial or product key.
February 13th, 2007 07:54
Fred, use slmgr.vbs -dlv command to check the time remaining, if it stays the same, mean it works.
February 13th, 2007 04:07
Hi guys!
I’m new in computer tricking…
I have downloaded vista ultimate RTM 6000 and burned Image into a bootable DVD.
When i try to install, the serial i enter to complete installation is denied.
How shall I proceed?
February 13th, 2007 02:25
How do I know if the trick worked?
February 12th, 2007 17:35
Stick with whatever that works.
February 12th, 2007 17:31
I used first timestop (dec06) that working good but its’t V2a, what do you reccomend me ?
February 12th, 2007 17:22
If your TimerStop crack is already working, no need to apply any more.
February 12th, 2007 17:17
Thanks Admin for info. TimerLock version 2.3 is ok for vista 32 or is better another version ?
February 12th, 2007 16:15
If you’re the only user of Vista, normally you’re the administrator too.
It basically means that the user accounts you login with must have administrator rights too.
February 12th, 2007 16:10
What means “After installation setup complete, boot up Windows Vista system with user id with administrator rights.” How I can do to run boot up Windows Vista system with user id with administrator rights”
February 12th, 2007 13:01
TimerLock 2.3 with full support for 64-bit Vista is up.
February 12th, 2007 12:51
So those clock was set to 2038, make sure you log on to Vista with administrator user account, not just “run as admin”. Also try later version of TimerLock.
February 12th, 2007 03:55
I just used TimerLock 2.2 with UAC on and it ran successfully and rebooted my computer. However, I am unable to use Windows Update or grab new definitions for Windows Defender now, getting an error of 8024A000. Also, my clock was set to 2038, not 2099. Using Vista Business. Whats wrong?
February 11th, 2007 20:31
Can you make a simple unistaller or auto-updater to update the crack whenever needed?
February 11th, 2007 18:00
i tried timerstop v2 and that worked perfectly. ive checked using driverquery and ive still got the timerlock driver in my system and i want to get rid of it. any ideas?
February 11th, 2007 16:02
It seems this doesn’t work for me. i checked the timer and it still counts down. While it was installing i checked the date on the clock and it said 2038, not 2099. I’m using Vista Ultimate. I’ve only got one rearm remaining and i dont want to waste it. If there is no way to fix the problem, can someone tell me how to COMPLETELY remove it from my system.
Thanks
February 11th, 2007 11:59
All versions should work on x32. Note that there is no functionality different on all version, the final patch is still by applying the TimerStop driver v2a. However, each version has updated check and algorithm to ensure the script can be used as straight forward as possible, hence the updated version to deal with various situation. So if a version works, you no need to upgrade.
February 11th, 2007 11:52
Admin, I have 32-bit version of Vista (RTM Build 6000), what version of TIMERLOCK do you recommend me??? Should I simply use the latest one?
February 11th, 2007 11:25
just reinstalled vista x64 and used 1.5 version, works fine! thanks for helping admin!
February 11th, 2007 11:04
Fred, version 2.2. and more information will be updated in a short while.
Updated.
Fred, you can try to use version 1.5, but instead of right click on it and run as admin, open an elevated command prompt with admin rights and type install.bat to execute it. Reported works for 64-bit Vista Ultimate.
February 11th, 2007 11:02
What version of TIMERLOCK does anybody recommend me for first time installation try on the RTM Build 6000 version of Vista? Appreciate anyone’s help.
February 11th, 2007 10:22
Wow! Hot dog it worked flawlessly. Thanks a bunch!
February 11th, 2007 09:22
K7, try to recover from RFM, and try to reset the 3 times count in registry.
February 11th, 2007 06:10
getting the same admin rights problem with 2.1 as i was getting with 2.0. running x64. havent tried 1.5 or lower as i dont wanna risk screwing it up again after i reinstalled everything for the 3rd time. maybe this is a 64bit related problem?
February 11th, 2007 05:53
answering my own question, i got owned! using vista in the reduced funcionality mode right now!
February 11th, 2007 05:45
Right click on the file “Run as administrator”
February 11th, 2007 05:32
admin, now that I tried v 1.5, the timer just disappeared. using the “slmgr.vbs -dlv” I got an “unlicensed” in the license status field. is this normal? the program also warned me about the re-arm limit been exceed (really was), and don’t prompted me to restart the computer.

February 11th, 2007 03:38

tried version 2.1, and it still asking for admin rights…
i’m running vista x64, 19 days remaining
February 10th, 2007 23:51
Djinn and eXperience, try version 2.1.
February 10th, 2007 22:21
I have a problem like eXPerience: after running TimerLockSetup.exe it keeps telling me “you must run this program with admin rights”, but i do! I do also turned of the UAC…
Why?
February 10th, 2007 20:55
1.5 fails to on win x64 spanish version..
but apliing the bcdedit -set loadoptions \”DDISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS” at the start of the file, and copy TimerStop64.sys to TimerStop.sys it seems to work
February 10th, 2007 20:43
The 2.0 version doesn’t works on x64, it always says that you need admin rights, also executing as Admin mode, and with UAC disabled..
February 10th, 2007 07:56
ben, it’s up to you whether you want to install clean or in-place upgrade. Yes, there is no need to change date during installation, not only for TimerLock or TimerStop, as the same intention can be achieved by rearm in 2099.
February 10th, 2007 02:07
to admin pls..
i would like to ask and clarify?
do i have to format my windows xp pro and install a fresh vista or its possible just to upgrade my pro to vista?
and i would like to clarify if i dont need to perform the changing of bios during installation?since it is incorporated with timerstop,am i correct sir?
pls do help me out..thanks
February 10th, 2007 00:59
Looks like it works, ty.
February 9th, 2007 23:48
I have applied the patch and I have set up Vista the way I like, would be really gutted if M$ finds a way to shut this hack down. What are the chances you think ?
February 9th, 2007 23:15
TimerLock has incorporated 2099 crack, which mean it will auto perform 2099 rearm for you.
February 9th, 2007 22:39
yah i have the same question..
it will be my first time to install vista so do i need to change my bios to 2099 and intall it?and after the installation, do i have to change the time and date at present and then proceed with the timerstop?
February 9th, 2007 22:17
So with this patch. U efinately do no need to do the 2099 procedure?
February 8th, 2007 23:28
I have a little problem with vista doh,
After running a while my pc makes a sound like its going to shut down but it just keep running.
I dont understand this , how can this happen?
Can someone help me ?
February 8th, 2007 11:58
This hack works great. the only one i could get to work. thanks a lot!
February 8th, 2007 00:12
So-Unreal, no need to purposely do that.
February 8th, 2007 00:04
So I dont need to set my bios back to 2099 with one?
February 7th, 2007 22:42
I am testing this patch on a virtual machine and it seems to run perfectly.
The renaming scheme seems quite clever, but unless the size of the dll’s will change randomly too, a simple hash check is enough for MS to kill this thing off. Right?
February 7th, 2007 18:16
Jug, I have the spanish version of windows vista and it worked fine.
Although, I was wondering if the “TEST MODE” are supposed to be there… or i have done anything wrong. Anyway, the clock stopped.
February 7th, 2007 16:18
Was this hack confirmed to work on international versions of Vista? I recall I way back checked it out and it just claimed something like “2 timers stopped” when I ran it. Just wondering if some localized stuff is involved here…
February 7th, 2007 14:42
I have done it already, now before I reboot, just saving some things to another hdd, in case it doesn’t work right, will see later, thanks
February 7th, 2007 13:50
OLi, TimerLock script has in built check if you still have rearm limit left, if it fail, try the following to see if your rearm limit can be increased:
1. Open registry editor.
2. Navigate to the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\SL
3. Edit the registry subkey of “SkipRearm” (you should see current value as dword:00000000) and set the “SkipRearm” value to any positive integer (such as 1).
4. Open command prompt with administrative rights.
5. Type “slmgr -rearm” or “Rundll32 slc.dll,SLReArmWindows”.
6. Restart computer. You should now has a fresh 30-day of trial period on Windows Vista, which by end of 30-days time bomb, you can repeat the procedures again to skip Vista activation.

No for sure. I already tried the other timerstop for x64 which didn’t work, and I’ve probably installed on top of this. I am guessing that somehow either the rearm, which was already used up, screwed it up for me, I should have checked that before and should have adjusted for that, oh well. I wasn’t real happy with the 64bit drivers issues anyways.
If any other suggestions in the meantime to get back to happyland would be cool, so I won’t have to reinstall.
February 7th, 2007 11:17
OLi, did you install WGA from Windows Updates?
February 7th, 2007 11:11
After I ran this, gave me a message saying my windows is not genuine, I had another 19 days to go on x64 Ultimate
February 7th, 2007 09:42
