Disc Player that Can Play Both Blue-Ray Disc and HD DVD
Having problem to seek for disc players that can conveniently playing both Blue-ray disc and HD DVD high definition content?
LG Electronics has launched the “Super Multi Blue” player at the 2007 International CES in Las Vegas, United States. The BH100 will be the first player on the market with the capability to play both next-generation disc formats, thus addressing the challenge of the current format war.
The BH100 will be introduced to US market in the first quarter of 2007 and the retail price is around US$1,199. Besides that, LG Electronics also offering flexibility in next-generation optical disc drives for PCs. The GGW-H10N which is compatible with both Blue-ray disc and HD DVD formats will also available in the first quarter of 2007.

If i remember correctly, the player is having trouble reaching the market because it wasn’t approved by the DVD forum before CES
