Unlock Sanyo DVD Player Multi Region Code Unlocker Hack

Here is a few more hacks or tricks other than unlock code for Durabrand that you can try to unlock various Sanyo DVD players’ region code restriction so that the Sanyo DVD players become multi-region capable (or region free) and can play most if not all DVDs from all region with different region codes.

Steps to unlock Sanyo DVD Player Region Code Restriction

Sanyo DWM-370, Sanyo DWM-380, Sanyo DVW-7000

1. With no disc inside the DVD player, turn on the power of DVD player by using remote control.
2. Use the remote control again, and press 11233543254346.
3. Power off the DVD player with remote control.
4. Power on the DVD player again with remote control, and you should be able to play DVD disc from any region.

Sanyo DVD-SX25, Sanyo DVD SX20 Slim DVD Player

1. Turn main power ON.
2. Confirm that “NO-DISK” was displayed on the display panel.
3. Press the ‘Display’ control key on the remote control. Select ‘Video’.
4. Input the password “1,3,5,7″ using the remote control.
5. The confirmation screen for the version of the firmware should display.
6. Change the region code (between 0-6) with the “up” or “down” key of remote control, with “0″ is region-free, and “2″ is standard for Europe)
7. Finally, press the ‘Display’ control key on the remote control to confirm choice.

Sanyo HV-DX3E DVD Player & Video Cassette Recorder, Sanyo HV-DX300A

1. Switch the HV-DX3 to DVD mode using the “Select” button.
2. Next, press the Tray “Open/Close” button.
3. Using the remote control, press the following numbers one after the other, 0, 5, 2, 0, continue by pressing the Up, Down, Left and Right navigational buttons in that order. If you have pressed the remote control buttons in the correct order, the Region Changed Menu Screen will be seen on your display.
4. Using the remote control press number 0 to change the player to Multi-Region.
5. Finally press the “Open/Close” button to close the disc tray, this action will memorize and save the changes made.

Sanyo DVR-V100E DVD Recorder/VCR Combination, Sanyo HVRDX610

1. Remove DVD or video from the player.
2. Press the ‘Set-up’ button on the remote control.
3. Select the ‘System Info’ mode from the on-screen menu.
4. Using the remote control 10-key type in ‘1101′
5. ‘Region code’ should appear as an option on the ‘System Info’ menu. Initially the region code will be set to 2. Press ‘0′ on your remote control using the 10-keys to set to multi-region.
6. Press ‘OK/Enter’ on the remote control.
7. Finish by pressing the ‘Set-up’ button once more.

Sanyo DVR-S120 DVD+R/RW Slim Recorder

1. Open the disc tray and then close it again (confirm that ‘No disc’ is displayed on front LCD panel display).
2. Select the ‘System’ key on the remote control.
3. Push the ‘Play’ button on the remote control.
4. Type in ‘159′ using the 10-key on the remote control (letters should disappear on front LCD panel display).
5. Type in ‘064135124255′ using the 10-key on the remote control.
6. Finish by pressing the ‘Play’ button once more.

Sanyo DWM-450

1. Power on the DVD player.
2. Eject the DVD tray by using remote controller.
3. Press 5, 7, 9, 2 in sequence.
4. Select 0 to set the DVD player to multiregion.
5. Close the tray.

Sanyo DVW-5000

1. Remove all disks from DVD player.
2. Turn off DVD.
3. Press “Power” in the remote control.
4. Wait until the NO DISC message appears in the screen.
5. Press PAUSE.
6. Press the following numbers 314159 in sequence.
7. The message CODE 1 (or whatever your default region code is) will appear.
8. Press the region code that you wish. Press 0 to read discs for any region.
9. Press PAUSE again.
10. In the remote control press POWER to turn it off.
11. After this procedure, turn on the DVD and insert a DVD from any region.

Sanyo DVD-SL33

1. Switch on the DVD Player.
2. Enter the number 89239990 through the remote control.
3. A message UPDATED will display on the display panel of the DVD. Once you get this message, the DVD has been converted to multi-region.

Sanyo DVD-DX501, Sanyo DVD-DX506, Sanyo DVD-DX510 *Original intend for Daewoo DV-700S

1. Turn on the player and open the drive tray.
2. Enter 8286* (replace * with number of the region you want to switch to, 0 for region-free).
3. A message should appear on the screen saying “Change to region *” with the * being the region entered in step 2.
4. Close the tray.

Sanyo DVD-7201, Sanyo DVD-1500A, Sanyo DVD-1550A, Sanyo DVD-5100, Sanyo DVD-6040, Sanyo DVD-6070

1. Press the Program button on your remote control.
2. Press the Right Cursor button on your remote control.
3. Press the Right Cursor button on your remote control.
4. Press the Enter button on your remote control.
5. Press the Play button on your remote controly.

If the above step-by-step instructions don’t work, try to use the following cracked firmware method. Note: Use at own responsibility, as your DVD player may goes wrong.

1. Download spookytooth-sanyo1500crack.zip.
2. Extract the zip file to retrieve the following 3 files: Dummy.dat, Sanyo.dvd and Sanyo.prg.
3. Burn these 3 files (only) to a data CD with volume label: 001017_1251.
4. Then, turn on the DVD player.
5. Put the CD into the disc tray, then close the tray.
6. A “reading” message will appear at top right of TV and on the LCD display. The DVD player machine may appear to turn off strangely too.
7. Wait for approximately 30 seconds, then the disc will eject automatically when it’s done.
8. Remove the CD.
9. Turn on the machine and you should be able to play DVDs from everywhere.

Sanyo DRW-1000

Note: This player only plays NTSC and the method to enable region-free playback is similar to Zenith XBR-411, GO-Video VR-4940 and Zenith XBR-413 unlock steps.

1. With no disc loaded press SETUP.
2. Navigate to the lock icon and press “0-0-0-0″. A window will appear saying “Congratulations Player(Loader) Region-free”.
3. To activate, press ENTER.

Sanyo HV-DX1E, Sanyo HV-DX2E, Sanyo DVW-7100

Note: The unlock multiregion hack is same with LG DVD-5000, and also LG DVD-5063/5083/5095/5183/5253/6053.

1. Download LG5000.zip.
2. Unzip the zip file, a folder named RMTM0000 will be created, which contains a file named kpjc19_1.dvd.
3. Burn the RMTM0000 folder to a data CD by using lower writing speed i.e. 24x.
4. Switch on the DVD player with remote control.
5. Insert the CD into DVD player and close the tray with remote control.
6. On screen you will be promoted to “ENTER REGION CODE”.
7. Press 0 for region free, and then press Enter.
8. Turn off your DVD player with the remote control.
9. You can now play all DVDs.
