The information on Readyboost misses a key point about the main reason why a USB key is ok to be used as temporary write behind cache where system RAM isn’t - it’s NON VOLATILE. Informationen på ReadyBoost missar en viktig punkt om den främsta anledningen till varför en USB-nyckel är ok att användas som tillfälliga skriva bakom cache där systemet RAM inte är - det är icke flyktig. So if you have a power outage, on reboot Vista will be able to apply any pending writes still on the USB key to disk so files aren’t corrupted by partial block-level updates. Så om du har ett strömavbrott, om omstart Vista kommer att kunna tillämpa några väntande skriver fortfarande på USB-nyckeln till disken så filerna inte är skadad genom partiell block-nivå uppdateringar. System memory is volatile so it’s used as read-ahead cache only, using system dynamic RAM as a block-level write-behind cache is simply dangerous. Systemets minne är flyktiga så det är som läser ahead cache endast med hjälp av systemet dynamiska RAM som en block-nivå skriva-bakom cache-minne är helt enkelt farligt.
