Google currently does not support setting the FREQUENCY with which the Mail Fetcher checks your third party account. The randomness of the current fetching makes it unusable for a business situation. Workaround for now it to have your ISP forward directly.

If you use 66.249.91.109 instead of pop.gmail.com, you can use the pop-service also for retrieving from your other gmail-accounts ..

Unfortunately, I find that gmail is very slow to fetch third-party email. Sometimes it can be 24 hours after a mail has been sent before it will show up on gmail even though it is on other mail clients in seconds.

Hi,

Using pop.googlemail.com for the POP seems to allow to fetch email from other gmail accounts. Working fine for me.

I can't wait to try this. My wife and daughter have been bugging me to find something like this for awhile. I had no idea it actually existed. Thanks!
