The install. should not contain any "N" Versions (you know, "N" for no thank you, no memory hungry WMP 11 for me). Don't waste your time trying to activate "EU" Vistas through KMS Servers. - You don't need to power off the firewall to connect to the KMS Host. Allow TCP port 1688 both in your router and in your firewall. No need to sacrifice SO MUCH on security settings. (antivirus was up, too) - Another cool tip : You can safely bypass the IP copy/paste step. The slmgr command (poorly documented) support host names, so simply type the name of the KMS Host. - I didn't input a Product Key during install., but my guess is the result would have been the same with the key. To me, the "Small" KMS Server is a fine evolution, no chinese speaking forums to browse through, no .vmx file to edit in notepad... Easy to make mistake... maybe a hint....
