Crack and Hack to Recover Combination Lock or Master Lock Combination Instructions
Password, or pass phrase, passcode, or PIN (personal identification number) has been used prominently during daily life to access to certain resources such as Windows accounts, password protect files, websites’ log-ins and locks’ combination numbers. If you forget or misplace your master combination lock number, you can try to crack the combination lock to retrieve and get back the combination number by following the instructions and steps in the following video tutorial guide.
The combination cracking guide should works on Master lock, although some of the techniques can also be applied to other manufacturers’ locks, such as ACE Hardware, American and Dudley brands of combination locks. The steps are plenty, and involves some math calculation, and might take your few hours to crack and hack to recover the master lock combination number. my Master lock serial: 626410
This one probably has a different algorithm, because I’ve found other people who have gotten the first 12 numbers very similar to mine. I get 4 whole numbers that end the same and 8 numbers that end with a decimal.
1.5, 5, 8.5*, 11.5, 15, 18.5*, 21.5, 25, 28.5*, 31.5, 35, 38.5*
* the numbers 8.5, 18.5, 28.5, and 38.5 were not perfectly within their ranges, but the other 8 numbers were perfect. So that leads me to conclude that maybe my 3rd number of the sequence could be a possibility of 8 numbers: 8, 9, 18, 19, 28, 29, 38, and 39. That’s way too much work to test!
I would appreciate it if anyone knows of any other algorithms to try for these Master locks that don’t seem to be the same.

You’ll have to examine the whole numbers more closely. I used to use (and still do use) the 3 cross method for finding the last number. You pull up on the shackle as usual, but instead of advancing to the next stop, you give the dial a quarter-turn and examine the stop there instead and so on around the dial. Only then do you go to the next cross by advancing 1 stop past the very first stop you started on. An example!:
I have a lock here, the first cross is (note, I’m not averaging, you’ll see why):
2-3, 12-13, 22-23, 32-33
next is:
5-6.5, 15.5-17, 25-26.5, 35-36.5
third and last is:
38+-0, 8.5-10, 18+-20, 28.5-30
The first cross, they’re all identical, and they don’t average to a whole number anyway. All decoys!
The third cross, there’s a little slop, but the slop is paired up on opposite sides of the dial, and at least one set of ends (the upper/right end) is a whole number (0,10,20,30). Decoys.
The second cross, there’s one stop that’s just half a number off from an otherwise normal-looking decoy cross. That aberration (15.5-17) contains your third number (16).
You’ll note that the real stop is a mere half number off from all the others in its cross. With averaging, you’ll miss it. Doing all the stops in order, you’ll probably miss it. Only by hitting all 4 points of the cross in rapid succession will the minute difference stand out.
With the third number, and narrowing down the first and second numbers as usual, just tumbler bump out 10 sets of 10 combinations (never bothered to remember which 20 to eliminate) and the lock should be open in a few minutes.

Damn, am I the only one who actually watched the video and made it work. You people just need to watch the video and do it. It works. A bit time consuming but it is better than photo copying the back of your lock/serial number, getting a notary public to certify it is your lock, mailing Master Lock, and waiting six weeks for a reply. Just watch the video,use your brain and do it….or cut the lock and buy a new one. Worked for me. I did a little guessing as the 12 initial numbers were difficult to determine whether they were whole numbers of ?.5 #s. But after seeing a trend in the 5 remaining whole numbers (23, 33, 3 etc.) I knew that the “10″ stood out and went with it. My remainder was 2 as 10/4=2 with a remainder of 2. (2,6,10,14 etc.) for the 1st poss. # combo. As you are supposed to add 0 for a remainder of 2 for the 2nd poss. # combo. was (0,4,8,12,16,20,24 etc.). I started guessing at random because I was getting frustrated with how much time this was taking…I tried three random combos with “10″ being the last # and got it on the third try. 14-24-10. Probably beginners luck but there is hope for you fellow frustrated crackers. It does work.

Why don’t you guys just take your combo Master lock to a nearby hardware store? They can easily figure out a new combo for you with the serial number on the back.
They do charge sometimes.
Makes it easy. You just need your Master lock with you.

Sorry KG I couldnt have been of more assistance to you on that one. And for Dan are you sure that is a standard master combo lock serial number you may want to check again there are not enough digits in the serial number there.
Everyone I just updated the master database in my software and I double checked the rest of the ones I could not find in teh previous checks and there are still no updates to those but I will keep trying for you all…

Boy you guys are comming up with some tough ones the only one I was able to lookup in that last set was Armida’s sorry to everyone else. But Master puts out some lines that are special and they dont give those codes out to just anyone. So even us locksmiths get the shaft. I hope you find your combinations everyone.

Unfortunately CC I was unable to find a code for your lock. I will check another source and see if I can help you out with that one later. I may just call a friend and have him look it up on some newer software. Sorry i couldnt help you out any further.
The software I have been using is made by HPC hpcworld.com and its called CodeSource quite expensive actually around $600 or so ouch.

I am working on a way to obtain the codes without the use of the locksmithing software so that I can load my own database. But there may be restrictions like proving that you actually own the lock before I can give out the combo’s like it may actually be a requirement by the information provider but I will make it simple and free like being able to upload a photo of the back of the lock and then I will just approve the request and you will automatically receive the combo in your email. I will keep you all posted.

The software is some locksmithing software used to find codes for cars, houses, business’, etc. It only works though if the codes have been loaded. So if you were to say see a code on the side of a car door lock (After you remove it from the car door of course) then I can see what the depths of the key are and make it on a special machine. Master lock codes are just a bonus to have there.

Thanks BUT there is a problem in your demo from part one to part three. You are saying that the reminder can either be 0, 1, 2 or 3 which is true, then in the next phase you say, if remainder is 0 or 1 add 2 if the remainder is 3 or 4, substract 2 … that second statement does not make sense since you forget the possibility that the remainder is 2 and you have a remainder of 4 which according to the statement from phase one, it’s not possible. I assume you meant if the remainder is 2 or 3, substract two.
