BigPond Wireless Broadband Mobile Card is an expansion card that slots into laptop PCMCIA card (or PC Card) slot and allows you to access World Wide Web or Internet and goes online via wireless broadband access within the supported coverage areas on BigPond/Telstra Next G Network. BigPond Next G Wireless Broadband Network is the first national 3G service in Australia and is considerably faster than EV-DO (EVDO) on Telstra’s CDMA network, and both will use the same 850MHz slice of spectrum. BigPond Next G Wireless network supports average download/upload speed of 256 kbps in G Fast wireless broadband mobile plan, and between 550 kbps to 1.5 mbps in Super G Fast wireless broadband mobile plan.
