It seems like not only Windows Vista Ultimate edition (most expensive and include all other less featured versions) that is been leaked for immediate download in Internet, 2007 Microsoft Office System suite of Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007 final RTM build 12.0.4518.1014, likely to be on retail CD, is also been leaked and released via BitTorrent (BT) P2P (peer-to-peer) network, and most likely soon been copied over to other file sharing network such as eDonkey or eMule (ed2k). 2007 Office System Enterprise Edition consists of Microsoft Office Access 2007, Communicator 2007, Excel 2007, Groove 2007, InfoPath 2007, OneNote 2007, Outlook 2007, PowerPoint 2007, Publisher 2007 and Word 2007.
To download the full ISO or BIN CD image of Microsoft Office 2007 System Enterprise edition with BT torrent, you need to have BT (BitTorrent) client such as BitComet, Azureus, uTorrent, BT++ or ABC installed on your computer. Then download the Microsoft.Office.2007.Enterprise-WiNK torrent, or alternative BT torrent. Both torrents contain splits of a compressed archive. Use extraction or compression utility such as WinRAR to combine and extract or uncompress the BIN and CUE extension archive. Then, burn the Office 2007 CD image to CD by using Nero to run the setup from CD, or simply unpack contents of the image by using IsoBuster or UltraISO, and then run the office installation from the local disk by double clicking on setup.exe.
Unlike Windows Vista, Microsoft doesn’t update volume activation process for Office 2007 System, which is still using Volume Activation 1.0. In short, corporate and business users on volumne license agreement require no activation. Thus, if any user can get hold, spy, hack, crack, steal, or ask somebody give a Office 2007 volume licensing key (VLK) serial number, then the user can install and use Office 2007 without any activation. For the above downloaded Office package, the VLK product key for Office 2007 is supplied in the text file with nfo extension. However, the use of leaked and publicly available product key or serial number most likely will fail the Office Genuine Advantage (OGA) validation when trying to access Office Updates or add-ons from Office Online.

Microsoft’s nonsense advice about setting up Office 2007 on a machine running 2003. They say you can, but you should’nt and they are seemingly not sure!

Firstly sorry for the late reply, my isps’ servers had gone dough nuts for more than a week now. Secondly, for pulling this slightly off-course.
As a student of Biotechnology with interest in Bioinformatics, I used to be a Linux enthusiast for a major part of my acads. Well, what I wanted to convey was that I had Suse 10.1 and Xp running on the same machine, with the Xen Virtualization Environment (supplied with Suse 10.1). But everything from cd-roms to on-board graphic and sound solutions to network adapters gave me problems. And finally, for familys’ sake, I had to lose Suse 10.1 and lost about 40gb data too. So I’m a bit awry about the Virtual Machine solution you suggested.
From what I gathered VMWare is pretty neat, but would it be worth Office 2003 and 2007 together? And would I need bunch of live cds or another installation of Xp itself? Have you personally tried something similar? And is there a rookies guide to the same?
I’d gladly make myself available for any other info.

Hi Khan, if you want to install and work with both versions of Office 2003 and 2007, you need a second machine, or software the will create “virtual machines” on your main machine such as VMWare or Microsoft Virtual PC.

Dear All,
With the availability of Office 2007 trial and full versions etc. from various resources, I am tempted to try it, but i was wondering if it is possible to have Office 2003 and 2007 both on the same machine?
My situation is that my younger siblings also use the machine at home for their routine school work, and I cant try 2007 at work! The new look of 2007 is very impressive, but the kids might need some time to adapt and learn. While they still need to stick to 2003, for examination purposes etc., before 2007 is made available at schools and colleges.
So is it possible to have Office 2003 and 2007 both on the same machine?

i found a great program called PowerISO that you can download as a trial to open the .daa file.
i had to uninstall the beta previously because of some sudden crashing, and was left with files i couldn’t open - and the compatibility converters wouldn’t work with the beta 1 - only beta 2.
