Acunetix Web Vulnerability Scanner (Acunetix WVS), now at version 4.0, is a software utility that automatically detects cyber attacks that are commonly launched on shopping carts, forms, login pages, dynamic content and etc where firewalls, SSL, network security and locked-down servers are impossible to prevent and futile against web application hacking. Acunetix WVS checks the web applications for SQL Injection, XSS cross site scripting, CRLF injection attacks, code execution attacks, directory traversal attacks, file inclusion attacks, authentication attacks. Beside, Acunetix WVS also features detection of Google hacking vulnerabilities, extend attacks with the HTTP editor & sniffer, HTTP fuzzer which allows automated, rule based variable testing, Javascript and AJAX application security scanning.
