you can use google for example to search for the torrent file for RC2.. it was wath i did. i am using rc2 for about 3 weeks and i am very satisfied with it. my only problem was with audio drivers for my creative sb live! 5.1…i can’t use it correctly for some things..but i have sound now lol

No, Microsoft have not yet placed a link to RC2 on their website, for now they are sticking with RC1, and releasing RC2 to MSDN Subscribers, but if you want a sneak preview of RC2 then you can download it from http://www.demonoid.com/files/download/HTTP/486279/11199636

hey…the links for rc2 everywhere i’ve tried (here, fileforum.betanews.com, etc) have taken me to the rc1 site, w/ no dl. i’ve got virtual pc ‘04 and wanna run it and see how it is before i burn it and make it a full os. let me kno how to get it. I WANNA TRY IT OUT!! lol.

RC2 features bug fixes and performance improvement. So how’s it compared with RC1 and is it ready for final release? ZDNet installs and reviews Windows Vista RC2 x64 Ultimate edition on Intel Pentium 4 model 630 based computer and concludes that the system was for the most part very responsive and I was hoping to make the system even more responsive by sticking in a fast 2 GB Compact Flash card. Unfortunately my USB 2.0 interface on my motherboard isn’t the greatest hardware in my experience and it failed the requirements to run ReadyBoost. Almost all of the core hardware is working fine but you might still run in to some obscure printer or scanner that might lack 64 bit drivers. While problems with 64 bit will be rare, it is frequent enough to be a problem. RC2 isn’t ready yet but it’s close.
