Download Microsoft Software from Download Center Bypass and Without Genuine Windows Validation

In a bid to protect Microsoft software from illegal piracy and counterfeiting, Microsoft has started Windows Genuine Advantage (WGA) program. One aspect of WGA is that several popular software and downloads available for free from Microsoft have been protected with WGA and required genuine Windows validation before users can download the software from Microsoft Download Center. These software includes Windows Defender (Beta 2), DirectX End-User Runtime, Internet Explorer 7 RC1 (Windows XP SP2), Windows Media Player 10, DirectX 9.0c End-User Runtime, Photo Story 3, Windows Installer 3.1 Redistributable and etc that marked with icon. If your validation check is failed then you won’t be able to download the files.

Several crack, hack and bypass methods have been found in order to skip the Windows validation check when downloading from Microsoft Download Center. Now there is additional method found by gHacks where you’re able to download all WGA-protected free download software and downloadable files from Microsoft without going through or simply bypass the genuine Windows validation check. The method involves using Microsoft Genuine Validation Diagnostic Tool program MGADiag.exe.

1. Download MGADiag.exe from Microsoft.
2. Run the MGADiag.exe
3. Under the first tab (Windows tab), check for the value of Download Center Code which consists of 7 upper-case characters or numeric digits.
4. Go to the download details page of the software you want to download. The download details page will ask you to click Continue (Validation Required) in order to begin Windows validation.
5. Append the following text to the download details page’s URL (at the end of the URL) at the Address bar, without quotation marks:

   &Hash=“Download Center Code”

   For example: &Hash=X8X88XX

6. Press Enter.
7. You will then be shown the download details page with Download button where description said click Download to download the Genuine Microsoft Software, instead of Continue button. Click Download to download the WGA-protected download.

However, the above method is valid for downloading of software from Microsoft only, and most installer or setup files will have secondary WGA validation check during installation, where you will need more hack or crack tools.

Update: This hack and workaround no longer works. Try to use direct download links or various Genuine Windows Advantage cracks and patches.
