Windows Update or Office Update Encounters 0×80070643 Failed Update Error

When Windows try to update Microsoft Office 2003 or its components such as Microsoft Word 2003, Excel 2003, PowerPoint 2003 and Outlook 2003, the update will fail, with Failed status indicated when you review your update history. When you click on the error icon, a new window will appear with the message “Error Code: 0×80070643″. The failed update will occur at Automatic Updates, Microsoft Update, Windows Update and Office Update, which are all utilising Microsoft Software Update Services (SUS).

Run and Log-in to Multiple Windows Live (MSN) Messenger with MultiMSN

Windows Live Messenger (previously known as MSN Messenger) only allow user to load or launch one session or instance of WLM messenger service. One WLM only bring some trouble to instant messeging addicts who have more than one Windows Live ID (Hotmail or MSN user ID). That’s mean only 1 login user ID can be online at any one time at one computer. Multi MSN is a small program that enable multiple account login ID and multiple instance (more than once) of MSN or Windows Live Messenger to load in 1 computer at the same time. Multi MSN also has added feature for removing the bottom ads banner on the messenger contact list and chat windows.

Remove Microsoft Word Manual Formatting or Copied Formatting from External Source

When you copy and paste a block of text into Microsoft Office Word document from external source or third party documents such as web browser or another documents, the existing hidden formatting from the external documents on the pasted text block will also be pasted into the existing Word document, thus affecting the size or font, or have the different size or font from the existing document.

Free Google WiFi Internet

Thanks to Google, residents in Mountain View, California have one less monthly bill to pay every month… their Internet. But does Google have national WiFi ambitions?

This month Google launched their free wireless Internet service called Google WiFi Mountain View. The service is completely free to the 72,000 residents of Mountain View and is not supported via ads. It covers the 12 square mile radius of the town and is comprised of some 380 access points.

Apple Recalls Laptop Batteries

Unfortunately Dell isn’t the only company plagued by exploding defective Sony batteries. On Thursday afternoon Apple announced that they will recall 1.8 million lithium-ion notebook batteries after nine devices overheated. Two people have even reportedly suffered minor burns due to these battery malfunctions.

Java SE 6 (Java Platform Standard Edition 6) Features and Enhancements

Java Platform, Standard Edition (Java SE 6) which code-named “Mustang” is the new name and future version for what previously known as J2SE. The new release will be identified as product version 6, and developer version 1.6.0. Java SE 6 has two products delivered under the name of the platform, that’s Java SE Development Kit 6 (JDK 6) and Java SE Runtime Environment 6 (JRE 6). Java SE 6 is currently in Beta 2 and is scheduled to be officially released later this year. Java SE 6 has greater level of maturity, stability, scalability and security of Java implementation.
