Sanyo Katana cellphone features 2.2-inch 65K-color 240×320 pixels QVGA TFT LCD main display, 1.0-inch 65K-color 128×160 TFT LCD external display, Bluetooth which supports HSP, HFP, DUN and OPP (vCard) profiles, VGA digital camera with 20x digital zoom, brightness controls, self-timer, color tone, picture effects, dedicated internal & external camera shutter keys and is Sprint PCS Picture Mail capable, Sprint PCS Vision capable, speakerphone ability, external side volume controls, 2-way SMS text messaging, instant messaging, voice-activated dialing, caller ID capability, call screening, voice memo, Sprint Wireless Backup enabled, 72-chord polyphonic ringers, JAVA (J2ME) MIDP 2.0 enabled, vibrating alert, and TTY capable.
MobileBurn review Sanyo Katana for Sprint and recommends Sanyo Katana mobile phone with conclusion that “I really like the Sanyo Katana. The device is reasonably good looking, and it is both thin and light. If you are a Sprint customer, this is the closest thing to a Motorola RAZR V3 that you are likely to ever find. It may not be very original, but it scores well on usability and is overall a pleasure to use. Its QVGA display is an added bonus. It scores a solid “Recommended” rating.”
