I bought a hp pavilion 8000 dv for $50 because there were pink lines where white areas should be. WOW, after one and a half years my lcd connection is going south as well. I recently bought an HP dv8000t with 7600 256MB Graphics Card, 80 GB HDD, 1GB RAM, 1.83 GHZ Duo Core.
