Corel Paint Shop Pro X s a bitmap graphics editor and vector graphics editor for computers running the Microsoft Windows operating system from Corel. Paint Shop Pro was originally published by Minneapolis-based Jasc Software. Paint Shop Pro X is version 10 of Paint Shop Pro graphics software, and cheaper alternative and main competitor to Adobe Photoshop.
Corel Photo Album Corel offers an easy way to organize, enhance, protect, and share your photos with the ability to automatically downloads photos from your camera, rotates and organizes the photos and pictures for you. Corel Photo Album also has the functionalities to fix photos in a snap with one-click quick fixes. Photos can be quickly shared with 1000s of creative projects including greeting cards, calendars, scrapbooks and more. Corel Photo Album also has backup utility to protect your images.
CRN reviews Corel Paint Shop Pro X and concludes that Paint Shop Pro X is easier to use than its competitor, Adobe Systems’ PhotoShop, and boasts many new productivity features that will appeal to a variety of customers. It arrives with a new graphical workflow that simplifies many of the steps involved in applying effects to images and quickly processing photo prints.
For Corel Photo Album Deluxe Edition 6, CRN writes that although less advanced, Photo Album Deluxe has a few of Paint Shop’s capabilities, so digital integrators can sell this product as a stand-alone for all amateur photo needs. For instance, Photo Album can fix red eye, crop and resize photos, adjust flash, backlighting, brightness and contrast. It also provides tools for saturation, color balance and sharpness.
