Firstly, I uninstalled windows Live Messenger, because I have the habit of opening my hotmail through Windows Live Messenger. So i uninstalled it and re-installed an older version of Messenger (version 7.0) its still available for download.. I closed Messenger and then opened up Live Hotmail, and it worked.
