Are Google pulling a fast one here? I've no Norton anti-virus or ad-blocking software installed; but I experienced one of these "errors" when bandwidth was low. It's a bit unlike Google to give such an untechnical explanation like "caused by Norton software". It should just say it's caused by a slow connection or ad-blocking (or more precisely, domain blocking) software. I don't like Norton's software but I do think Norton should be justifiably annoyed and tell Google to change its wording in the help topic. I'm not very happy that Google is trying to discourage people from blocking ads domains. Google have good reason to discourage their use or disimprove Gmail for people who user ad-blockers. It's not very ethical for a company that says "don't be evil".
