LG KG800 Chocolate Phone Review by Tech Digest

LG-KG800 is a slider mobile phone from LG Chocolate Black series. KG800 Chocolate phone features a “hidden” display which consists of touch keypads that remain unseen when not in use and will glow red when active. Other features are pretty standard with 2″ 256k LCD colour display, 1.3 megapixel camera, digital audio MP3, WMA, AAC support and 128MB memory. LG-KG800 has dimension of 9.5 x 4.8 x 1.5cm and weighes approximately 85g.
Tech Digest reviewed LG KG800 Chocolate phone and concluded that “we like this phone a lot and LG has good reason to expect the Chocolate to fly off the shelves. While it might not appeal to those who want their handsets to come brimming with technical goodies, there is no arguing that it looks fantastic and is sure to succeed on that factor alone.”

I have the LG800 Chocolate phone from Bell and how to get pics off your phone to your comp is 1. Click on UPLOAD and then to MY UPLOADS folder.
GO TO your BELL.CA acccont and log into my Bell Page click on the Pic and video messaging. If its the first time using it just click on that prompt that says your first time user. All your pics you put as uploads are there. Now you can right click on pic or send to your emails.

horrible phone. KEEP AWAY.
LG WONT EVEN HONOR A STANDARD 1 YEAR WARRANTY.
instead they blame their customers for not knowing how to use a phone.
sick !!!

Well, first of all, i used to work for bell mobility customer service departement, i received some issue rearding this phone when i worked there and i bought myself an LG800 as well, well i knew about the issues, thi phone was chap and since i worked there i had a good price plan… well 25 $ all-Include lol.. ok first i wanna put something cleared. Firs of all, the usb device wont work on VISTA and the software that u need too wont work.. try to find a friend with win XP to install your stuff (mp3/video,etc…).. about the pic and video u took with that phone, well unfotunately, you’ll have to to send it via their website///mypictures.bell.ca (something lkehat cant remember claly), yeah will cost u 50 cents per pic and 75 cents per video and u have to addmobile browser (intrnet) fee if u don’t have it unlimited.u should call and ask a reprepresentant from customer servic to add u for an months (7$/ month vs 51,20$ per megabites of usage), and ask the rep kinddly for a month free. they will giv u 1 month ree unlimited mobilbrowser, don’t foget to call back and cancel or thy will charge you on next month.wwell, thats probly all is phone.
Darkside
P.S. don’t bcocky with customr service rep if he can’t give u the driver for vis.. better go blame to LG.. they are the lazy 1 lol

After poking round the net I finally found the drivers to get the LG KG800(chocolate) to work with XP…Here’s the site:www.nodevice.com/driver/KG800/get41522.html…do the setup then go and modify & have the program install the modem drivers(cause during initial installation it removes them) once that is done enable the media storage on your phone & open bell’s Music transfer program & voila…thank u very much it is done…Also if u want to upload music I suggest u download the Switch encoding program to convert any mp3 u want on your phone to AAC…dosin’t take up as much space as an mp3…Have a great Day!!!

ok getting music onto your phone is SO simple… first you have to NOT install any software your phone came with.. now plug your phone in via USB cable..windows will automatically install it. ok now go to the file where your music is..right click it.. click send to.. and click removable drive or USB mass storage or something like that (i think its different on some comps) now go to my computer click the removable drive picture thing and it will open a window… your song should be there…drag it into the media file then into the music file
now to play it unplug your phone go to mp3 and it should be there..it worked for me good luck

I have an LG 800 phone. Since it’s a long and hard procedure to upload wallpapers/screensavers to it, i use photos. I am experiencing some problems though. If i “assign” a photo as a screensaver, it will “assign” the first photo that i ever assigned, each time.
I think this will stop happening if i reset the “assiigned media” folder and delete all the photos in there. How do you do this?
Also, if there is a way to reset the phone (delete all files, photos, etc.) could someone please tell me?
Thank you,
Dasha
