– Remove Media Preview
regsvr32 /u shmedia.dll

– Remove’s image preview
regsvr32 /u shimgvw.dll

To re-register them, just run the same commands without the /u trigger.

I have exactly the same problem as Dipendra, same Specs:
*1.86GHz
*512 Mb of RAM
*60GB HDD
*running on Windows XP Home
* Toshiba Satellite M40x(Notebook)
Please help me!!

I have done all this but, there’s no difference.In a folder if there is pictures it freezes, and when i try to send a picture though msn,etc… it also freezes. Please help me?!
Specs:

Vasanth, there are too many possibilities to your problem, it may caused by hardware problem, or you may try to reinstall Windows. Also check if your mic is attached properly.

Hi,

When i use my PC loaded with XP ser pack2 and try to download things like Yahoo msgr etc, I am unable to download them.At the same time when i chat using SKYPE s/w i am able to listen the voice other side but my voice isnt heard by them.One more thing is that when i try to move the Windows across the screen they move very slowly across the screen.

My PC often hangs when I use internet.

My PC spec:

400MHz processor,20GB HDD,196MB RAM

I am not just able to relate what the problem is?

Hi Tony I believe the above problem may not related to windows ME, so your issue might be not related. Try update your Windows with all the patches.

I am using Windows ME and have all the symptoms described above but I do not use HP or Sunbelt. I looked for the registry entry described but there is no \\\\\cached subfile to extensions. Is there
anywhere else in ME that I should be looking.
