Remove or Hide Windows Live Messenger Tabs

In Windows Live Messenger ( formerly known as MSN Messenger 8 ), there is product and service tabs (buttons) that are located on the left side of the main Windows Live Messenger window. To hide or remove the tabs:

Go to Tools.
Go to Options.
Click on Tabs on the left column.
Check (select) the Hide Tabs box.
Press OK or Apply.

You will now see a clean Windows Live Messenger window without the tabs buttons.

For Every One Who Wants To Remove Windows Live Messanger 8.1 Or what else… Get In Start Menu (4 windows XP) Go To Control Panel. Make Sure That You’ve Switched The Classic View… Double Click On ” Add Or Remove Programs “, Choose “Change Or Remove Programs”… Get Down The List, Find Windows Live Messanger… Click On It And Click Remove….

hey all… I have a problem with windows live messanger… My Problem Is: When I’ve Installed Windows Live Messanger, I’ve Checked On The Case: Open All Chat Pages In One Windows (But Ofcorse Different Tab…) How Can I Disable This… I’ve Searched A Lot For A Solution… And I’ll Never Un-Instal-it For This Problem…. i need to dlete this 9.0 plus live version of msn.. it is so irritating. all of its pop ups and now it is messing with the rest of my stuff on the computer.. PLEASE HELP

You can install ‘messenger plus!’ to get a hide-feature for your messenger. I’ve used it myself at my workplace… You get to choose to install the adware packaged with messenger plus! – I declined their offer … of course!
