I used Excel Password Unlocker to remove the lost worksheet password. AS far as I know, Office password unlocker also can recover excel password, ms word password and access passwords.

Works BUT… for some reason it won’t allow you to put a new PW in I think so I gave up.

Then I found out this other fix:

With the file open, choose File….Save As.

Then within the Save As Dialog box, choose Tools….General Options.

There you can adjust / remove the password settings.
