You use the following trick tip

Download version 7.6 an install that version

http://support.apple.com/downloads/QuickTime_7_6_for_Windows

http://support.apple.com/downloads/QuickTime_7_6_for_Leopard

You can also get quicktime without downloading itunes for tiger:
http://support.apple.com/downloads/QuickTime_7_6_for_Tiger

After that, apple update will offer 7.6.4 update and also if you change your micd as aditional offer you will be able to use the mix itunes plus quicktime
